What a gem! The warmest and most helpful welcome we had in Sri Lanka. This heritage home is creatively decorated with traditional Dutch marionettes on the walls. Rooms very comfortable and delightfully quirky. And the food is up there with the best. We enjoyed our time sitting on the verandah watching the world go by.

Quirky boutique hotel, centrally located in the old quarter of Galle, reasonably priced, with helpful and friendly staff, well equipped, clean rooms with all amenities, good food, laid back but efficient ambience and convenient for exploring locally on foot or by Tuk Tuk.

Excellent location inside fort area. You can walk to the ramparts very easily. Poor quality of accommodation and welcome compared to other places we stayed at similar prices. Manager can be extremely rude. I would not stay there again. Plenty of other options in Galle.

This is a great place to stay right in the middle of the Fort. The staff and owners could not have been more welcoming. The room was very comfortable with eclectic decorations. A lovely stay and we will be back.

Well located, inside fort. The owners are very friendly and good host. It is a small charming place to stay in Galle. The breakfast is spectacular, is all homemade. Very original decoration with nice puppets, and old furnitures. It worth a visit.

We spent at the Le Jardin du Fort in Galle 4 days / 3 nights (family of 5 with 3 kids: 9, 4 and 1 y. old). We liked this place much! Galle is thanks to its fortress and colonial history a must to do in Sri Lanka. 3 nights were for us enough. We choosed this place, because we liked the reviews on TA. And also thanks to a prompt communication between us and the owner. What was great? Room, beds, bathroom, b-fast, cappucino, cleanliness, personal approach, kindness, value… Italian restaurant nexdoor is a great spot! Thx! Pavel and family

Perfect place, location and super hosts! They take care of everything, starting from tidy, clean and beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, good suggestions where to go, what not to miss and in Galle. We were lucky to stay 10 days and really all the recommendations for this wonderful place and people! Hope to see you again!

Beautiful small boutique hotel in the heart of Galle fort. The room was perfect as was the Sri Lankan breakfast and French pastries. Maneyika & Charles are great hosts and really went out of their way to make my stay amazing. If you are ever in Galle fort give this place a try you will not regret it

Excellent boutique hotel in Galle Fort! Very clean rooms, friendly staff and owners and delicious breakfast. They also make the best coffee in the Fort! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and look forward to another visit in the future. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
