Green Herbal Ayurvedic Eco-Lodge

Beautiful location countryside of rural SriLanka. About 20 minutes from Galle Fort by tuktuk passing through Unawatuna beaches, diversion for a swim and coconut water before proceeding to Ayurvedic villa welcomed by host Niranjan provided with excellent Sri Lankan breakfast of string hoppers, coconut symbol and egg curry. Very good value less than £10 per night for two with breakfast. Rooms and washroom basic amenities but great for budget travellers. Range of ayurvedic treatment and massages extra fees but optional. Intend to comeback with family for ayurvedic services. Definitely recommend

Nera and staff were kind and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Settling into the generous space with a working kitchen was the cherry on top! The wildlife of monkeys, peacocks and colorful birds were on full display.. The location in the village of Unawatuna is excellent and about a 30 minute tuk tuk ride to Galle. There is a temple and lovely pond nearby with wading ducks. There is also a small supermarket with an adjacent vegetable stand about a 10 minute walk away. Jungle Beach and the Japanese Peace Pagoda are about a 30 to 40 minute trek. It would be helpful to add the Uber app to gauge tuk tuk pricing beforehand if you choose to use them.

Good place to stay out of the city and not too far from interesting places. There is a nice and beautiful buddhist center at only few hundred meters away. Noce to go to pray there in the evening. Staff is very friendly and they truly care for your well being. I definitely recommand this place for tranquility and good rest!

The gym and spa were just like the website boasts. Make sure you grab breakfast before heading to the beach!
