Really enjoyed my stay at fort bazaar. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Due to the rainy weather down south I changed my plans to go to Tangalle and stay a couple of extra days at Fort Bazaar and enjoyed the spa and walking around Galle. I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable there. Definitely somewhere I would consider to stay again

This hotel is located inside Galle Fort, and its biggest advantage is its location! I stayed in room 5, which is close to their offices and has poor soundproofing! I highly recommend avoiding it! The decor is simple, IKEA-esque, and doesn't reflect its historical heritage! The toothbrushes are hard! The pool water is murky! The breakfast server was a slightly overweight guy with a belly and no smile! 75 out of 100! Aside from the location, there's nothing else that stands out!

Five-star price, average B&B facilities. Breakfast is okay, but dinner is unpalatable, expensive and unpalatable. A hamburger costs 5,000 rupees, which is not very cost-effective. Perfectly located hotel for exploring Fort Galle. Deceptive from the front of the hotel with the beautiful rooms, outdoor space, swimming pool and spa hidden from the street front. Lovely to sit on the terrace to eat and watch the world go by. Our room was just perfect! All the staff were very friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was perfect.

Our room (3) was huge and airy with a high ceiling, balcony and fabulous bathroom with bath and shower. The breakfast menu is excellent - served (not a buffet) in the dining room or outside on the terrace. I enjoyed the hoppers with poached eggs, ham and hollandaise sauce plus the fruit plate and home made jams with a variety of breads. And then there is happy hour in the “social”. Free G&T, wine beer or Arrack Attack. Brilliant. All the staff were smiley and the pool quiet and peaceful. Worthy of 6 stars. I would love to come again and stay longer.

What a place to stay. The location is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are fabulous. Breakfast is out of this world. And DON’T miss happy hour. BEST hotel on our wonderful tour of Sri Lanka. Thank you
