A beautiful boutique hotel. Spacious, clean and exquisitely decorated. After a long journey from Kandy, we arrived far later than anticipated. We messaged ahead to inform them of our late arrival and food was left in our room for us as well as drinks. The reception area is stunning, beautifully executed with sofas, loungers and an indoor spa like pool. Our room was stunning, carefully chosen pieces of furniture and spacious. The bathroom … wow! If only we had been able to stay longer, a stone bath tub, a great shower that had plenty of hot water and a very very roomy glass surround. The staff are kind and very welcoming. The whole place is calm and beautiful with careful attention to detail. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, our brief one night stay was not enough. I very much look forward to returning, this is a hidden gem in Galle. Thank you for taking such good care of us during our stay. We look forward to seeing you again.

Had an amazing stay at Taavetti Villa. The property is beautifully designed, very clean, and offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the overall setting feels very private and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always making sure everything was taken care of. Service was smooth and professional throughout our stay. What I really liked most was the peaceful environment and attention to detail, which made the whole experience feel special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a quiet and comfortable place. Will definitely visit again!

I have had a worst experience of my wife. Booked hotel for our anniversary. Came to the hotel at 7pm. The hotel is like a house and you have to walk 50 yards to eat food across the street. No manager no people to receive. They did not want to show me the room as they said pay first. Four flights of steps. My wife said she will cancel and the guy there started shouting at my wife and stated that he bas the right to be ride. He saif you have to pay for the cake and flowers. I said I will not as you are extremely rude so he called the tourist police. The owner was in the hotel and be did not come out till his staff became aggressive and wanted to hit me. The owner said he heard everything and he was sorry but we checked out. Iam an Australian citizen and he said Iam an Indian because my wife is Pakistani. Terrible Terrible behaviou

The most charming boutique hotel in Sri Lanka. A slice of Paradise. Iranka the hotel Manager is well versed in 5 star hospitality and attends to your every need. The hotel is calm, adjacent to the ocean, and walking distance to the Old Fort. I will be returning!

Absolutely loved this accommodation and the restaurant was amazing! Chef Lakmal’s food was absolutely delicious…..the best ever! Staff was brilliant too.

Location, ambience, cleanliness, value, warmth of staff everything is a 10/10. Very pleasant and comfortable stay at Taavetti Villa.

A most pleasant stay, faultless room, location good and amazing staff. The restaurant was a short walk away and across a busy road, but with someone always at hand to safely help one cross. Great food and amazing beach scenery.
