Nox Hotel Galway

Absolutely terrible stay - would give zero stars if it was possible. The staff was so unfriendly and unhelpful- especially the “Supervisor” at the reception whose name I believe was Aileen. Our room was described as ‘river view’ with ‘double bed’, and we ended up with a beautiful view of the parking lot and an additional bed we didn’t ask for. When we mentioned this to the receptionist, she offered no explanation or help, simply said that it’s Trip.com’s fault about the view description and that they couldn’t remove the extra bed. When we went to collect our laundry from reception, the ‘supervisor’ once again didn’t even let us explain that we were just collecting laundry, and proceeded to say that there is no laundry on the weekends. Upon explaining that we were simply collecting something given the same morning, she didn’t even have the courtesy to apologize for being rude and interrupting. At check-out, the same woman tried to charge us more than the price mentioned on the laundry price list - upon asking her to recheck twice, she realized she was wrong but never apologized for that either. Throughout all the interactions in 3 days, we were never even once greeted with a smile. Wouldn’t recommend this for anyone.

Party in room next door rang to complian at 2am, they came up and stopped it but no apology to us for disruption. Staff at breakfast not friendly and walked passed while hitting off you

The location is good to public transport and shopping areas, as if we hit the jackpot. It is so convenient eventhough you do not have any transport yourself to walk to bus stops and get access to the city centre. Lively hotel, clean and a lot of parking space if you bring your own car. We booked for 3 people, but the room was so big that we can actually take each bed ourselves.

Great service, we liked it so much we stayed a different night, there was a man on reception called Dave. The last night. Everyone else was very good. The Dave fella made a fool out of a girl he was training inn. She was really nice. This man we rang room service and he hung up on us. My partner went down to look for her food and made her feel completely uncomfortable. So I sent her down and told her to ask for the name and he said it was someone else that was on the phone to her. Which was a lie. There were very accomodation bar the Dave fella.

The staff were amazing and well manner they an amazing service as people were catered for kind regards Timothy Leahy

Staff and food were superb

Clean hotel, quiet location but a bit far from the town center. Service wasn't very friendly except for the bar keeper

Hotel is clean and it's WiFi is good and service level is excellent
