Absolutely incredible place to stay. I've stayed in alot of hotels in ireland, new to hostel accommodation but it's got to said the double room in The Nest Boutique "Hostel" is equal if not above any of the 4 star experiences in say The Mayson or The Dean for a fraction of the price and double in size. I am genuinely blown away by the experience from start to finish, from the staff at reception Laura and Beth, who are just so personable, not to mention the way they cannot do enough to help, be it calling taxis or providing phone chargers for disorganised travellers like myself. A cafe restaurant on site also that's in a league of it's own in the area. The Nest has truly something special. Great location, spotlessly clean and unparalleled customer service, already booked to return before I left.

The Nest was fine for our needs. We stayed just one night passing through Galway. The rooms are very basic and overall we thought this was quite expensive for what was offered. The staff are very nice, parking was easy but I wouldn’t describe this as any kind of luxury!

Stayed in the 6-bed mixed dorm. Definitely the most comfortable dorm-style mattresses ever. I was pleasantly surprised by the spotless and spacious bathrooms! The best part was the door padding and hinges– staying in hostels, my sleep is often disrupted by doors slamming in the night, but this design made the doors nearly silent! The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked and easy to use, and common area is a great way to meet other travelers! The location is a 2-minute walk from Grattan Beach and a 10-20 minute walk from Salthill Prom and the famous Blackrock diving board. I got super lucky with an amazing sunset my last night here. Also check out O'Connor's bar, with traditional live Irish music every night! There is a bus that can save you a 30-min walk to and from the city centre– be sure to bring cash because they will not accept card!

Really enjoyed our stay. I was traveling with my sister and we stayed in the family suite.We had separate bedrooms but shared a bathroom. It was a perfect room for our needs.Quiet, convenient hostel with a really nice vibe. . Would definitely stay again!

We booked a twin room, very spacious and comfortable. Shared kitchen was very clean and easy to use. Grocers, restaurants banks and post office all within walking distance All staff were great and helpful. The only downside was the noise of people passing through the hallway.
