Gangneung Gyeongpo H Avenue

I was pleasantly surprised to find an ocean-view room during peak season at a better-than-expected price. It was a great stay and I made some good memories. I definitely recommend this if you're looking for an ocean-view hotel with good value for money! The room didn't have any strange smells, and the soundproofing was good, which was a plus. I also appreciated the kind gesture of allowing us to check out at 11:30 AM instead of the usual 11 AM. Just a heads-up, there's an extra charge if you check out after 11:30 AM. Thank you! My only minor criticisms would be that the room was a bit small, the indoor chair had some stains, and the air conditioner's interior wasn't cleaned (I saw some mold). However, for the price I paid, these are acceptable drawbacks.

We were a group of three and stayed in the family room. Although the lack of a view made it feel a bit stuffy, it was fine since the beach was right outside the hotel. The interior was generally clean, and all the amenities were provided. I especially loved the bedding; I slept like a baby. There were three bottles of water in the room, and they gave us more without any extra charge. The staff seemed neither friendly nor unfriendly, just neutral, haha.

It's just okay...

The location is great as it is right in front of Gyeongpo Beach. However, the facilities seem a bit dated compared to the photos. Still, it was clean and the bedding was comfortable.

If you get the wrong room, you won't see the ocean; it will be a parking lot view. It was clean, the location was good, and the facilities were good. It was a bit cramped for two adults. However, there were more good points. I would stay again.

The clean, beautiful sea-view room is conveniently located with many convenience stores downstairs and parking available.

Out of all the accommodations available for my trip to Gangneung, I think I made the right choice in selecting this place! 1) The facilities and room were clean, and there was no sign of wear or unpleasant smell. 2) The location is unbeatable 💪 - the beach, cafes, convenience stores, restaurants, etc. are just a minute away. 3) The ocean view from the room 🌊 was the best!! 4) The room was warm - I get cold easily, so I really appreciated that the room was warm! 5) A personal highlight - There is an Aura Cafe connected to the hotel that is open until 2 AM, sells both alcohol and coffee, and has a cozy atmosphere. It was perfect for relaxing and enjoying a rainy day haha.
