My wife and I stayed here with my mom while tending to some family matters in a nearby town. We loved this hotel. Its location in the vineyards of Gavi is unimaginably beautiful, and the staff and facilities are outstanding. Oh, and the food is amazing. If you want a luxury stay in the hills of Piemonte, look no further.

We went here for a work-retreat. We all had the time of our lives! The area is lovely, all the staff were so helpfull and considering. The food was excellent and the overall atmosphere was lovely! I would recommend going here any chance you get! 10/10!

I was impressed by the hotel staff – they were all so friendly, kind and welcoming. The hotel is nicely designed, and the rooms are spacious and very stylish. The restaurant offers fantastic local food, including local wines and truffles. The location is very convenient, not far from Milan, shopping outlet and Nizza.

We arrived at the property much later than expected, the night receptionist was very accommodating and we had some nice food in the room late at night. The room was spacious, good air conditioning considering the high July temperatures. Nice breakfast selection with nice views from the breakfast terrace. We spend the afternoon at the pool with some nice snacks and drinks. Friendly and helpful service, nice surrounds, nice nature and overall very nice property.

Settled at the border of Piemonte and Ligura, the resort is ideally located should you wish to have a team building activity in the Piedmont hills or on the Mediterranean coast. I discovered this resort 10 years ago. They had a wonderful event team then and the new person in charge is equally very agreeable to work with. Their several spaces for lunch/dinner ensured we had a new culinary experience each day (from picnic basket lunches to gourmet dinners in their new cellar or in the private lounge on top of the extended restaurant). The new seminar/meeting room was perfect for 15. Room temperature/light/technology equally matched our needs. The place would also be a nice stopover for a roadtrip between northern and southern Italy. Thank you very much to all the staff (events, reception, housekeeping, restaurant) for their positive / can do attitude! Lastly the owners are to be seen especially on Sundays but as they did the 1st time we came they remain very discreet.

In a beautiful surrounding, this hotel & winery is located between Milano & Genova. A perfect place to relax and/or exercise by bike, walking or hiking. The rooms are very nice and spacious and well equipped. Perhaps due to recent opening, the service during the day from the bar/restaurant was understaffed and very slow for drinks. The same for the breakfast - again due to restrictions- took quite some time. The picnic which is being organized, is definitely a winner. The menu for dinner is ambitious but does not reach the level they pretend and the local wines are average.

Nous n'aurons pas assez de mots pour exprimer notre ressenti sur ce lieu extraordinaire, qui nous est cher et qui le sera désormais pour toujours. Si nous pouvions mettre 10 étoiles nous le ferions. Encore un grand merci à Tiziana, Manuela, et toute l'équipe de réception et de restauration pour avoir fait de ce week-end, un moment magique à jamais gravé dans nos cœurs. La villa Sparina, c'est tout simplement pour nous les français, le rêve éveillé de la dolce vita italienne. L'hotel est sompteux, on y mange divinement bien et le vin y est délicieux. Le restaurant gastronomique est digne d'etre étoilé au michelin. La volaille farcie, les linguines au homard, la tarte tatin sont des plats divins. Les sauces sont exquises, le pain, les glaces et plein d'autres choses sont réalisées sur place. Un vrai délice. La villa Sparina est pour nous un endroit incontournable de l'Italie. Ne changez rien, tout y est parfait. Merci d'avoir su y créer cette atmosphère unique qui nous permet de vivre un rêve éveillé à chacune de nos venues. Vanessa & David.
