Pro: 1)We love that the hotel serves wedang herbal drinks, but its only available on weekdays, not on weekend. 2) Room is clean, housekeeping did a good job everyday. 3) Location -walking distance to Malioboro street. Cons: 1) I wish the room comes with mini fridge. Jogjakarta is super hot in Aug, drinking cold beverages are life saver! 2) I wish the hotel stock up on international adapter. I asked to borrow 1, until I checked out (5 days later) reception never gets back to me, luckily i managed to order one from Grab mart!

Okay. The service was friendly, and the room was nice. The price wasn't too expensive because it was fair for what you got. It's close to Malioboro. The breakfast was good. I'll definitely stay here again next time. No regrets spending 2 nights here.

The staff are incredibly friendly, right from the security guard at the entrance to those in the rooms. The rooms are clean, the water is clean, and the swimming pool on the top floor is great. Highly recommended! There aren't any connecting doors between rooms yet, but you can request adjoining rooms (if available).

Had a really comfortable stay at Fortunagrande Malioboro. The location is super close to Malioboro, so you can walk there and don't have to worry about parking. Plus, the rooftop has a great view, especially in the afternoon. There are also lots of games for the kids! 👌🏻

The hotel is located on a small street, not too far from the train station, but the distance is awkward – a bit too far to walk comfortably, and taking a taxi can be a nightmare due to traffic (it took 30 minutes by taxi at 8 PM). When we were leaving Yogyakarta, it was incredibly difficult to get a taxi from the hotel; we had to wait about 20 minutes each time, and eventually ended up taking two trishaws. The room felt like an old house that had been given a quick paint job. The bathroom was quite basic, especially the shower area, which was tiny and had no door, so water sprayed everywhere, leaving the floor soaking wet. However, I'd give the service five stars. The room was cleaned thoroughly and meticulously, and the front desk staff were all very warm and responsible. The hotel breakfast was quite rich with a good variety, but it was all Indonesian style, which might not suit a Chinese palate.

I reluctantly give this hotel 1 star. I booked three standard rooms for IDR 900,000 and one deluxe room for IDR 1,040,000. The standard rooms are frankly discriminatory, located in a narrow corridor behind the elevator, feeling more like capsule rooms. They should seriously consider converting them into storage. I stayed over a weekend, hoping for a good breakfast, but I was extremely disappointed. There was NO MEAT option. The main dishes were white rice, fried rice, plain vermicelli, vegetable capcay, crispy fried chicken (which was incredibly tough), and worst of all, small fish cut in half WITH THE BONES STILL INTACT (so cheap!). Even the ice cream had to be served, you couldn't scoop it yourself. Dirty plates piled up on the tables and took forever to be cleared. There was no coffee machine. The only Western options were spiral pasta and sausages. The live cooking station only offered instant noodles. This hotel is really just selling its location. To the management: If you've increased the prices, please improve the quality too!!! This is the first time I've experienced a 4-star hotel that feels like a 2-star. The security team, however, provided excellent service. You all deserve a higher salary than HR.

Hotel has a good location close to main night street, but it is enough away to have a bit of peace. Cleanlineas could be better, but nothing terrible.

Extremely kid-friendly! The staff were so kind and honest. I checked out on Sunday and didn't realize until Tuesday that I'd left my camera at the hotel. Thank you, good people! The hotel is comfortable, clean, and the service is friendly. The location is strategic, very close to Malioboro. The breakfast is decent and varied, and most importantly, it's kid-friendly. It gives us peace of mind when we have to work, as our kids won't get bored because there are many play areas for them.

Hotel right next to Malioboro street. Great atmosphere and safe. Facilities are well-maintained. Breakfast buffet with limited Western food options. A very decent hotel for a couple of nights to visit the city.
