Very well located, with many eateries around and just across the street of the train station which was very convenient for us. Room was decent, enough for a night stay but still pretty pricey. Hotel provides free public transport for foreigners so do remember to ask the reception as well :) It was a little noisy as they were doing renovation works just during the day.

Really easy to get to, less than 5 minutes from Genève Cornavin and then another 5 minutes to the lakeside. You can use your room key to open the main door of the hotel from the outside (staff recommended we do this so that we could get in even if no one was at the desk). The hotel is a little worn and dusty, but overall the stay was fine.

This night was extremely unsatisfactory. I had traded for a much more expensive room, but to my surprise, I didn't sleep well. Compared to the previous night, I was only given one pillow, and the bedding was thick and hot, with a heavy quilt. It was so hot that I couldn't sleep.

We stayed at the hotel for one night and were very pleased. The location is a 1-minute walk from Geneva city center, where buses depart from. The room temperature was also very good. We were very happy with the staff as well. They gave us a card for free public transport in Geneva. Even though we arrived early, they allowed us into our room. I would definitely choose Hotel Des Alpesi again when visiting Geneva.
