The price offered at very affordable and the hotel is well maintained from the grand hall, restaurant and especially the hotel room, very spacious and the bed very comfy. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gurney Bay Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure a seamless check-in experience.The level of service throughout my entire stay was exceptional—every staff member I encountered was attentive, polite, and always greeted me with a warm smile. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered stunning views over the bay. I also really enjoyed the fantastic wellness facilities, especially the outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi.The property is perfectly situated along the waterfront, making it easy to enjoy evening walks along the promenade or explore the nearby shopping malls and famous local hawker stalls. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Penang and can't wait to return!

Room was clean and spacious for family with two kids. Amenities like gym, swimming pools, jacuzzi and sauna are available in the same floor with well maintained facilities.

We enjoyed our stay here at this slightly aged hotel but still maintained very well. Room was clean and comfortable. The only con was the wait while check in. The facilities like swimming pool, gym room, etc were nicely equipped. The location is very convenient to the seaside and eateries. I think this might be the best option when come to choosing a sea view room in a stars hotel.
