HUTTONSTAY AT GEORGETOWN

It's a bit far from George Town's main attractions, so it's really quiet at night. It's about a 10-15 minute walk, but it gets too hot during the day. 😂 You need to wear slippers inside. There's a water dispenser with hot and cold water. You can temporarily store luggage in the waiting area, and the self-service laundry room is a great plus! 👍🏿 The operating hours are from 3 PM to 10 PM (this was for another room type I booked, which I felt wasn't as soundproof).

Facilities: The room is large and spacious, with a dining table in a separate room. The water heater and hair dryer both work perfectly, which is very convenient. The decor is also stylish and seems to have been carefully designed. Cleanliness: While the guesthouse doesn't mention daily cleaning, overall it's very clean. Shoes must be removed upon entering the lobby. The floors and walls appear to have been coated with waterproof paint, and they feel quite clean. The towels smelled a bit familiar yet unfamiliar, perhaps from disinfectant. Environment: Pretty good. Rooms near the road can be noisy, but there are usually no cars around 1 AM. The guesthouse's location is excellent; finding food and taking public transportation is very convenient. The New World Food Street is just a short walk to the left, and the Kimberly Night Market is a short walk to the right, offering many food options and massage parlors. It's also close to the police station, making it relatively safe at night. Service: Very good. Online customer service is generally responsive. One day, my folding umbrella was mistakenly taken by another guest. After contacting the hotel, the guest was quickly located, and they offered chocolates as an apology. The hotel also gave me an extra gift as a Christmas present.
