A truly delightful stay. The hotel offers a warm and cozy ambiance, complemented by clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more pleasant. The dining experience was equally impressive, with delicious food that enhanced the overall stay. Here’s a polished version: From the security team and front desk staff to the F&B and hospitality teams, the service was excellent throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding. Many people say Penang is famous for its food, but unfortunately it did not suit my taste, so I mostly relied on the hotel’s breakfast. It was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had, especially the roti telur with dhal, which was delicious. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to most major attractions. Thank you for your excellent service and hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion (also known as The Blue Mansion) boasts an excellent location in George Town's historic district. Right across the street are the Clan Jetties, and there are countless historical buildings nearby, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. What truly stands out is the hotel staff; they are exceptionally polite and attentive. The hotel itself is an old heritage building, so the facilities are a little dated, but they are very well-maintained. The rooms are cleaned immaculately every day, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices to suit most tastes. For this area, it offers fantastic value for money.

This property is dated to say the least. It needs a makeover. The power points weren’t functioning as they should and nothing was done even after informing the reception. The breakfast spread was good, mainly local food which was nice. Housekeeping did their job but the free snacks in the room weren’t replenished. Maybe it’s a one time thing but there was no mentioned. Not a big deal tho.  The location is prefect if one wants to explore Penang’s architecture on foot. Many colonial buildings surrounds the property. Close to many street food places. On the whole, the experience was just above par.

I had a Junior Suite, thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was vast, so much to choose from. Enjoyed the pool a few times. And also having a coffee machine in the room along with the filtered water. I will definitely stay here next time.

Regular guest at this hotel. Clean bedroom & bathroom, comfortable bed, classic decor, excellent location close to heritage attractions & ferry terminal. Staff was friendly, breakfast spread was superb, and most recent addition was the convenient water filter installed in the bathroom, making the water drinkable straight from the tap. Overall, a very pleasant & satisfactory stay.
