Simple, clean room and comfortable bed . Reception very professional and courteous . No fault on location. Street food is just around the corner . Housekeeping is spot on ! Downside is just one lift available, so a bit of wait if you’re not in a hurry . No fridge available in my room. A bit warm along the corridor otherwise a nice stay . Can’t complaint . Will definitely come back again . Thanks to the team of Yan hotel . Well done !

Let's start with the praise. The location is perfect for those who wants to venture and walk around Georgetown. Perfect for food hunters, just a few steps to famous eateries. Amenities were pretty standard where you have to ask for it eg hairdryer. Ironically, an iron and ironing board is provided in the room instead. It's time to change the pillows too. Now comes the bad. We booked a family room and it was big with 2 queen beds. However the location of the aircon is really a mystery. I cannot phantom why it was placed in a hidden slot in the middle of the room, blowing towards the wall instead towards the bed. The second queen bed couldn't feel the aircon at all. I sincerely hope that the management would relocate it. Other than the aircon, we enjoyed our stay. Will we come back? Maybe.

Strategic location easy to find delicious Penang food. We feedback to the receptionist the required changes they take action. Value for money of course don’t expect 5 stars hotel service.
