This former winery was an absolute delight to stay in. Our room was very very large and ever so tastefully appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was large, had two areas to shower including a footed tub and it was the most tastefully decorated bathroom that I have ever laid eyes upon. The grounds were particularly lovely and there was a well-equipped kitchen for guest use. We could eat outside or inside, but the outside space was particularly lovely as it overlooked a charming garden replete with a variety of birds. Breakfast was a feast of cheeses, meats, cereals, fresh croissants and breads, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juices, and so on. We were offered, and happily dined on delicious eggs each morning. Our host was helpful and very pleasant.

We arrived at this beautiful property and were given the tour by the owner. She had spent four years renovating an old abandoned winery/restaurant and did a wonderful job. The common areas were comfortable and nice appointed. Our room was huge, nicely decorated and had a nice view of the street and some vineyards. Unfortunately, a large, freak hailstorm/rainstorm flooded the streets, the hotel cellar and first floor. The owner quickly found us rooms at a nearby hotel. I hope she is able to clean up and reopen soon. We really regret that we could not finish our stay at this beautiful property.

I've traveled all over the world and have stayed in many hotels, including five star and world renowned. This hotel checks all the boxes in such a wonderful way. From the initial warm greeting by Yolanda, the owner, to the lovely, well-appointed rooms and fantastic breakfast, this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. We were in room #2; our friends were in #5. Both are the top category, and well worth it. The bathrooms looked like they were out of a home design magazine, with every detail so well thought out. The room was very comfy, with plenty of closet space and drawers, as well as good lighting. In the common area, there was a kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave, and dishes we could use, as well as constant availability of tea and a hot water carafe. Drinking water (as they have a water softener) was always there, as if by magic. We were thrilled to see our sheets changed the third day we were there; so unusual in this day and age. The breakfast was plentiful, with high-quality cheeses, yogurts, local jams, bakery items fresh every morning, cereals, toast, fruit, and the offer of eggs cooked any way you like each morning. The service was so attentive and efficient, so if you are on a schedule there is no problem. Breakfast is an extra charge, but definitely worth it. One of the best features of the hotel is its location, set in the vineyards in a quiet location just on the outskirts of the small village of Gevrey-Chambertin, away from the hustle and bustle of Beaune and some of the bigger towns in Burgundy. Without question we would return again, and highly recommend this exceptional property!

Beautiful village. Lovely room, well equipped and very clean. Breakfast a little disappointing. The shower had fabulous drenching power. Internet , as in most of France , was rather poor. Recommendations for local restaurants excellent, especially the clos au Napoleon in Fixin

Much more than a B&B - this is a simply outstanding hotel in the heart of Gevry-Chambertin. We could not fault this beautifully converted winery - from the warm and friendly welcome we received from the owners, to the fabulous rooms and extensive breakfast. Secure parking is also a big plus. We cannot recommend Les Deux Chèvres highly enough. We only wished we had stayed longer - but we will definitely be back.

Our group of 8 finally made it to Burgundy this month like everyone else a year delayed. We stayed two nights at Paul and Jolanta’s wonderful hotel. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. The property has been beautifully restored and the rooms and baths are very modern, yet respectful of the history of the place. Paul gave us a tour of the historic cellars. The town of Chevrey-Chambertin is charming with some great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend Les Deux Chevres!

This hotel is comfortable, quiet and ideally located in the unassuming yet famous village of Gevrey Chambertin. The owner is hands on and will even fry your eggs in the morning . We had a spacious room upstairs with nice and squeaky floors, softy bed and spacious and well appointed bathroom. The place is peaceful, you can sleep with the windows open. Ideal stop over for the travel to the south or for stocking up on marvellous wines on your way back north
