E1 Suites & Spa Aparthotel Style - Gym & Spa

We stayed here in December for three nights as part of our sons 11th Bday celebrations. We had a fantastic suite overlooking the airport runway and into the mountains of Spain. The suite was so comfy and spotless with plenty of space. The breakfast was included in what we paid and it was table service with spec orders which was so nice compared to the usual buffet fare. This is next to bus stops so you can get around the small peninsula very very quickly. Walking distance to the three nice beaches on the eastern side too. If you are staying in Gibraltar I wpuld highly reccomend.

We had a great experience. Easy check in and once we opened the door to the room, we were like WOW. The room has a beautiful view. The apartment was very clean and equipped with so many features. Second bed pulls out from the wall. There are two tvs. Fridge freezer, cooking appliances, washing machine and a beautiful bathroom. The bed omg so cosy. Id happily take the bed home with me. My family loved it. Due to there being a washing machine, I didnt actually bring home any dirty washing after my weeks stay. It was a godsend once home. A few snag points to note to the owners, Drawer in bathroom doesn't function properly, it appears to not be on its runners. The shower is hard to find a good temperature, with only a slight adjustment, you either burn to death or freeze to death. Its hard to get the perfect balance. Oven- whilst the oven had oven trays, there was no rack to put your oven trays on. I think thats why its so clean, because you cant actually use it. Aircon doesn't work in living room No cot supplied despite requesting one prior. We checked the cot option. On arrival there wasnt one in the room. We asked reception and the man said they dont do cots. We had to co sleep with our baby. Those issues were noted, however I considered them small issues and had a fantastic stay

Nice and big rooms, which had everything you needed. The hotel was a short walk from the city center. Maybe not the best view, but perfectly fine. A small but ok restaurant on the first floor, which served everything from breakfast to drinks. A very nice spa downstairs.

Highly recommend, our experience was amazing, everything was super. I whould like to thank all reception crew who was really helpful and specifically wonderful lady, manager Rebecca who helped me, when I got in trouble with my accidental wrong booking. Thank you so much, you are life saver***

We booked 3 rooms as we were attending a wedding. The Rooms were spacious and clean. Do not attempt to use the iron as in all three rooms they were dirty and marked our clothing. The day after the wedding we were about to leave to join friends for a BBQ and received a call informing us we had to get out of one of the rooms now! They had already entered our room without permission! We were shocked to discover another guest had requested to change rooms prior to our arrival and they gave them one of our rooms without realising that it had to be empty that day. We still had 2 days left on our booking. We had to immediately collect all my daughters belongings and store them in one of our other rooms. No other solution was offered. We then had to wait for several hours until they had a room available for us. Our day was completely ruined by their incompetence. When we finally got a call to say the room was ready, they issued a key and to our horror it was the key for someone else's safety deposit box!!! We had to go back down to reception again and get the correct key, then move all our stuff to the new room. I am horrified that their security when entrusted with someone's valuables, that they paid so little attention! Not everyone is honest enough to return the key. No thanks were given. We asked to speak to management but were informed we couldn't until the next day. The manageress was very vague, not in the least bit sorry. She offered us 15% discount on one nights rent! We were appalled at this paltry offer considering we had flown out there to spend time with family and friends and due to their error we missed out on a full day of fun. We thought the apartments were quite expensive, and we refused her insulting offer, I suggest some training in customer relations wouldn't go a miss.

I have stayed at many hotels who under deliver. This place is great. It’s basically suites in a residential tower block. I had a large room on the 17th floor. Lovely views from large balcony overlooking the airport. The suite is large with all the facilities you would expect to find in an apartment. You could live here and just move in. Two tv’s. A comfortable bed. Well appointed bathroom. Friendly staff. Breakfast is served in a restaurant on the ground floor. There is a menu and you order and they cook it fresh. I would stay here again without doubt. I have stayed at over a hundred hotels in the last few years and this place is clearly well run and at a decent rate.

Fantastic apartment. A little out of the way, but the amazing view, cleanliness and presentation of the apartment made up for it. Staff were so helpful from arrival to departure. Great cafe bar on the ground floor. We had breakfast there and it was delicious. Would definitely return.

Booked for 3 nights 4 days. Room was nice enough. Bur they must have a profile of the person they like to use their spa despite the fact it's included. Went to the spa reception to ask to see the spa. They told me they could not show it to me because people were in "bathing suits"!!! Apparently for E1 seeing people in bathing suits us a no no! They told me they could only show me in video! Then I went to the upstairs reception to ask about what I was told in the spa. The attitude of the woman there was as off and unfriendly as the spa reception. If you are looking for friendly service and to use the spa which is included in the price don't bother. Book a cheaper place with no spa and save your money..

Excellent suite, room had comfortable bed. Very good self catering facilities if needed. We had a 15th floor room with lovely view of rock and beach. Great food in the cafe on ground floor. Very close to airport and main tourist areas.
