Gifu Green Hotel

Final check-in is at 11pm, but we arrived at 10:30pm. The parking lot is packed tightly together. We left our car keys at the front desk. We had to climb a flight of stairs from the parking lot to the front desk, which was difficult with our heavy suitcases. In front of the front desk there was a small reception room, furnished with a lovely sofa and other furniture. It really made me realise that this was a privately run hotel. We paid the accommodation and parking fees in advance and took the elevator to our room. The room was a spacious twin. It was neither new nor functional, but the bed was spacious and clean, and it had all the necessities, so we had no inconveniences. There were several cute lamps and a cushion embroidered with the hotel's initials, which was very comforting. There was also a nice hair dryer. When we went to the parking lot the next day, our car had been parked in an easy-to-get location. The stairs were a bit of a challenge, but it was cheap, quiet and we slept well, so we were pleased.
