Very old hotel, the bed is damaged , the breakfast no good , staffs kick off guest from restaurant sharp , not friendly.

Hotel cleanisess was okay. Not too far from JR station. Location also good, not difficult to find halal restaurant since im a muslim traveller. Im not rating the breakfast since im not booking for that. Recommended you all to stay here during you vacation in gifu.

Two biggest advantages are location a few minutes from the JR station and breakfast. Although a bit pricey, the breakfast features a stunning choice of local products and even crab (maybe depending on the season). We also liked Shirakawa black tea, desserts (even donuts were delicious), croquets and so on. The view was also amazing, with Gifu castle and the mountain range.

Stayed for 4 nights at the Hotel Gifu Grand last December. Our room had a direct view of Gifu Castle. The breakfast was incredibly lavish, offering not just local sake but also high-quality dishes like cold-cut Hida beef steak and crab legs. They even had a self-service Hida Takayama ramen station, which I happily indulged in every morning 🍜. Highly recommend!

The best hotel I've stayed at in Japan! A bit dated but extremely spacious! Bathroom seems like it got recently renovated

The location is good to reach easily the JR and Meitetsu station, also close to the main city and highway bus stops. Very close to Gifu City 43 (with observatory deck). It is just around what used to be the covered clothing shopping district, which is now mostly empty and run down. The district is seeing progressive renovations. There are plenty of restaurants around, but for more affordable places, might have to walk some distance. Room are large enough, so you wont have trouble opening and arranging large luggage. The furniture is old and bathroom needs some maintenance (sink cracked on top and leaking under the drain). The ambient was quite dusty and the cleaning of the room is done only on the fourth day of stay (used towels, garbage and mugs/glasses must be put outside the room and will be replaced with a clean set at the door). There is a coin laundry with dryers, but it’s located at lobby level. The staff is polite and helpful, speaks English.

The room wasn't big and felt a bit old, but thankfully it was clean and served its purpose. Most importantly, the price was a huge factor.

Dated but comfortable room. Close proximity to the train station and highway bus station, with food options nearby. Room is spacious and amenities are sufficient.

Pleasant stay at Gifu near the station with really fast wi-fi

Abit dated but clean and good condition. Location is not too bad.

Cozy and very near from the station

Nice and cozy hotel with moderate room size, good breakfast. Cheap parking is available right across the street with only 800yen for 24 hours. A good hotel to get overnight with if you pass by Gifu.
