Marc Hotel Gili Trawangan

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Need a bit polished here and there in the property, but everything was functioning well and neat. Thank you!

The location of the hotel is very convenient. There is a local market nearby where you can enjoy freshly grilled shrimp and other seafood at reasonable prices. There are also many restaurants and shops within walking distance. I didn’t see any sun loungers belonging to the hotel on the beach, although it’s possible that I simply couldn’t find them. I also don’t think this particular part of the beach is the best place for swimming. One great advantage is that you can easily rent an electric bike nearby and explore the whole island, which I highly recommend. Unfortunately, cleanliness was a big disappointment. When I checked in, my room was very dirty. The staff kindly changed my room, but the second room was just as dirty. I asked them to clean the floor, and although they did, it still wasn’t cleaned very well. At least I no longer had to see someone else’s hair on the floor. If you decide to stay here, you might even want to bring a cleaning cloth to wipe the floor yourself. The breakfasts were good, and Gili Trawangan itself is a beautiful island with an amazing atmosphere. Overall, despite the good location and decent breakfast, I would probably choose a different hotel next time because the cleanliness of the rooms was far below my expectations.

The staff were really accommodating. They allowed us a later check out. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location

The location of this hotel is quite good. It's close to the dock and it's just a few steps away. The room I was given was in a semi-basement. I requested a change, but they replied that there were no other rooms available. I really hate this kind of semi-basement room. There's a wall outside the window, it's pitch black. Inside the room, it's also pitch black. I need sunlight. There's no sunlight in the room, which made me extremely depressed and felt very oppressed, wanting to cry loudly. The hygiene of the hotel is not very good either. There are uncleaned garbage beside the bed and on the recliner in the room. The shower head in the bathroom is also very poor. The hanging place cannot be adjusted for the angle, so during the shower, I could only hold the shower head with one hand and wash my hair with the other hand. It was very inconvenient. Moreover, there's no mobile signal in the room and the WiFi is intermittent. In a pitch-black room, there's no network available for the mobile phone. It's simply terrible.

perfecr location to the port.. the personel is very kind and supportive. they helped with the snorkelling tour. you can hire a bike from the front of the hotel.

Conveniently located close to the pier. Very friendly staff. Overall very clean. And the breakfast was good.
