The room's overall amenities were good, and the mattress was comfortable, helping me sleep well. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, they did have traditional Scottish Potato Scones. The view from the window was decent, and the double-glazed windows effectively blocked out the noise from passing trains. However, there were two main things I was unhappy about: First, upon entering the room, I immediately noticed the tissue box (as shown in image 3) hadn't been tidied. There were only three tissues left, clearly from the previous guest. It made me wonder what the previous guest had done with the tissues to leave them in such a messy state. Second, I had specifically requested *not* to have a corner room before checking in, but for some reason, I was still assigned room 1004, which was a U-shaped room. I hope to see improvements in these areas next time I visit.

We had a fantastic stay at Clayton Hotel Glasgow. The hotel was modern, spotless, and in a perfect location within walking distance of the city centre and many attractions. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always willing to help with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose Clayton Hotel Glasgow again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel! It's spotlessly clean and offers a peaceful retreat while being right in the heart of things. Located directly across from the River Clyde and just behind a bustling pedestrian street, with a Lidl supermarket only a few steps away. The freshly baked croissants are absolutely delicious!

Great views with a river-facing room. The room facilities are complete, and the hotel breakfast is delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful. I booked a suite and was given a room on a high floor, which I was very pleased with. It was really comfortable for a solo traveler. Highly recommend!

The hotel is right by the river, making it super convenient to get to the shopping street. However, parking is at the nearby Q-Park and costs £25 a night, and unfortunately, the hotel also charges for parking. The facilities are pretty good, but breakfast was just okay.

The apartment is nestled in an alley, right off the main commercial street. There are various pubs, souvenir shops, pizzerias, and ice cream parlors nearby. It's about a ten-minute walk from the train station, but be prepared for a steep uphill climb – otherwise, it's fine. The room is well-equipped and laid out efficiently, though it lacks traditional Chinese hotel amenities like slippers and toothbrushes. Overall, it's a good choice for a family trip.

Our overall experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Even before check-in, they sent an email with the wrong check-in date that didn't match my reservation at all. I contacted Trip.com customer service, and only when Trip.com checked with the hotel did they admit it was an email meant for another guest. Despite such an outrageous error, I never received a single apology from the hotel, and I'm very concerned about their handling of guests' personal information. On the day of check-in, we arrived at the hotel around 2 PM. The front desk staff, like robots, informed us that our room was ready but that checking in before 3 PM would incur an extra charge of £15. While I understand hotel policies, this was the only hotel out of six we stayed at during our UK trip that charged for early check-in, and the robotic attitude of the staff made for a very unpleasant experience. So, we stored our luggage and returned in the evening to check in. The evening front desk staff had also changed and displayed the same robotic demeanor. Upon checking into the room, we found stains and hair on the bedsheets. We called the hotel to request a change, and they said someone would come immediately. However, we waited for nearly half an hour with no one showing up. After calling again and waiting a bit longer, a housekeeping manager on duty knocked on our door and offered to move us to a different room directly. The bedsheets in the new room were fine, but we later discovered large stains on the luggage rack and the carpet. We cleaned the luggage rack ourselves, which was a very frustrating experience. Since we didn't require daily housekeeping, we would call the hotel each day to request replenishment of amenities. The first time we called, it took over an hour for them to deliver. However, there was one occasion when it arrived very quickly, so it might depend on the efficiency of the staff on duty. On check-out day, we were rushing to catch a flight. When we approached the front desk, there were four staff members (at least two of whom were front desk personnel) chatting. They completely ignored us even as we walked up to the counter, continuing their conversation. Only when we stated we wanted to check out did one of them casually say we could just drop the card in a box further away, without any offer to take the room key or assist us throughout the process.
