The accommodation is situated in Budy, a very small village, about 10-15 km from Bialowieza, at a nice quiet location. On site there are wooden houses, build in a traditional style. There is plenty of (free) parking space. The houses have 4 rooms. Our room, on the ground floor, was spacious, with a living room, bedroom and bathroom. Because of the wood, it was a bit noisy. It was mostly clean, except for the bathroom floor with hairs from the previous guests. There was only a hand shower in our bath tub, and without a shower curtain, it was almost impossible to keep the rest of the bathroom dry. We missed good curtains, a little fridge and chairs outside to relax. There was a water cooker and cups: it would be nice if there was tea/coffee too. Breakfast was good. Bread, meat and cheeses were served. The place has a restaurant and it is, together with a good restaurant (U Kolarza) in the village, the only restaurant outside Bialowieza. Staff seemed friendly, but didn’t speak English/German, so communication was not possible.
