Hampton Inn by Hilton West Wichita Goddard

I was very disappointed with the condition of my room during my recent stay at Hampton Inn. Cleanliness and maintenance are basic expectations, especially for a brand that promotes consistency and quality. The bathroom door was visibly dirty, which immediately raised concerns about the overall sanitation of the room. In addition, the sink faucet was loose and unstable, making it difficult to use and giving the impression that routine maintenance is being overlooked. These issues are unacceptable for any hotel, but particularly at a Hampton Inn where guests expect a clean, well-maintained environment.

Wanted to be okay with this property. The hotel was not clean. There was food all over the floor of the elevator multiple times. The elevators not only had crushed food on the floor but each time we got in there was a different odor, one morning strong vomit smell. The garbage was over flowing in multiple places and the area where we waited for the elevator on the 4th floor wrecked of trashed for the entire fist morning we were there. Due to the water park there was water all over the floor of the lobby area throughout our stay. In a dining areas near the elevators there was an overwhelming smell of mildewy towels. They ran out of coffee multiple mornings and did not stay on top of replacing things And finally our bed was a disaster. The head of the bed was lower at an angle, which for me led to waking with headaches each morning. Pillows were no help as they flattened immediately. Staff was not rude but also not friendly or helpful. They just seemed to be there. Will not be staying again

Has standards changes at hotels? We were gone all day until 10pm and the trash can remained full, no clean towels, the bed was as we left it. Outside of just what used to be standard hospitality being absent the hotel was good.

The staff was friendly and welcoming - especially the front desk girl with blonde hair and tattoos (I cant remember names). The room was very clean and the breakfast was good! Thank you!

The purpose of our stay was to visit the indoor water park, Blast Off Bay, and our hotel offered a guest exclusive discount to the indoor water park, which was a pleasant surprise!

The staff were adequate, not extraordinary. The place wreaked of bleach. The place was loud, npisy, doors slammed. No more Hilton inn stays for me. Never again.

Room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Water park attached, huge workout area.

Check in at 4:00 there was only one staff member at front desk with five families waiting to check in. Went to breakfast early and Breakfast was very busy only one staff member working. Both coffee pots were empty. Hot foods ran out several times. Yet three employees were behind the front desk talking.

The room was clean!! That’s a 5 star. The night staff was less than friendly. The room only had a light shade. No curtains or heavy shade to block out the light. Wife had difficulty getting to sleep with the light from the street lamps. Morning light woke us both up it was so bright.
