Gold Beach Inn

We stayed in one of the dog friendly rooms. Rooms could use a little updating, but overall good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I'll start by saying we stayed in the Lighthouse Condo and it was HUGE. I will add video here or on google. You can fit two families. Three queen beds and two queen sofa couches. The property was a tiny walk to the beach, safe and easy. No elevator, wasn't an issue for us. The actual condo had some things that were newly replaced, like nice counters and shower but it did not seem extra clean. It was totally manageable and worth it for the size and cost, as well as the full kitchen. The only complaint is that I called and asked prior about a coffee maker being full sized and it was a hotel single serve. There were not enough sheets, towels, paper towels or trash bags, but I did not go and ask for any and I'm sure they were available. There were a few window screens missing but it didn't bother us. The staff are all really nice and helpful! They even went and found our expensive missing ear buds and shipped them to us! Beds were clean and comfy, and we had Easter there! Might still be some eggs hidden somewhere in there. We will absolutely be back, and with friends. Great place to stay.

Modern room , clean ( little dust but acceptable ) , friendly staff , good location and quiet , poor breakfast , it's good to stay one or two night's

The room(s) had been “upgraded” recently. However, they must have used an inexperienced or unlicensed contractor, as the new tile was falling off the bathroom wall and the cabinets are not adjusted to easily open. The room smelled dirty. The bedspread had uncleaned spots on it and the toilet bowl had not been scrubbed for some time. The new faucet is loose. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The hot tubs advertised on ******* have been out of service for 2 years and it is expected it will be 2 more years. Staff said they have requested 3rd party services to take that off the site. WITH 5 minutes effort, the nest of cords hanging down from the TV could be made much more today. The breakfast area was less than clean, had a folding table with a hot plate on a folding table and filthy cabinets. Variety was burnt scrambled eggs, country fried hashbrowns, cold cereal, muffins and cold cereal. Customers had to go ask front desk help for additional supplies. However, the view from our balcony was top notch. Right above the ocean with unobstructed view.

We were not given an ocean view room. It was very clean and quiet. The hot tubs are permanently closed, ********** needs to update its listing. All in all a very good deal for the price.

Room was pretty clean. TV did not work, went to the front desk but the friendly young lady didnt know what to do (not her fault) toilet ran most of the evening and thin walls and could heat the people next door pretty clearly. Nice beach to ealk on in the morning

The room was semi clean, floor was dirty and garbage from the previous visitor was left. The hot tubs are permanently closed and that was not known until I arrived

The advertisement for the site features jacuzzis that are no longer in service: they should update this. They advertise that they are “newly renovated but both the window in our room And the door jam have significant gaps in them. The windowsill was bowed and there were signs of black mold in the bathroom. Very inexpensive but concerning

Staff was wooden and not cheery at all. I think a sea view room was open, but we were put in a room with a view of the parking lot.
