The hotel was overall average. Great location, unique artwork, generally quiet. The room was averagely clean. There were signs of old stains in the bathroom and some portions of the walls and hallway. My biggest concern was the bed. I tossed and turn all two nights that I stayed there. The mattress was not firm at all and uncomfortable to sleep in. I am the type of person that is able to sleep anywhere, bus, chair, you name it but this was the first time in my life that I could not sleep because of a mattress. Advice to management: please please change the mattresses to firmer ones.
We ate at the restaurant for dinner and the food was subpar. I ordered a carne asada and the waitress brought it to me with fries stating that he had swapped it out the rice because they had run out. He didn’t ask me before making the switch. Also it was supposed to come with guacamole but he said they were out of that too. He offered ranch for my fires because they had also run out of ketchup. For a $30 meal (plus taxes), I expected much more. It wasn’t seasoned.
