Holiday Inn Express & Suites MINNEAPOLIS – WEST END by IHG

The property is currently undergoing a complete interior renovation so there was construction debris and noise during my stay, and the advertised Fitness Center was closed. I assume whenever that’s done that conditions will improve, But one of the bottles of shower products was empty and the “Kleenex” box only had two tissues left with no refill in the room. Seemed like the property was a bit overly concerned about guests pilfering supplies. The breakfast was quite good however.

The breakfast tastes so nice (it looks like that was made by your mom)! High quality yougurts and bath supplies. The room was spotless and staff very friendly. I strongly recommend it!

Currently under construction. Cleanliness in the common areas was below expectations during my visit. Once the remodel is complete, it may be worth revisiting, but I would avoid it until renovations are finished.

Undergoing renovations and most everything looked new and fresh. Nice updates. Comfortable beds.

There was construction over the whole place. The entrance was being jack hammered when I was trying to check in. They just gave you a paper apologizing. Tons of workers every where. They were recreating hallways. The elevator was so smelly that we took the stairs to the third floor. There weight room was missing a weight from the set. Nothing below 10. Tiny area. In order to eat break they opened up a conference room which was also a storage room. Manager was nice and helpful. Changed room floors. Due to being there for a concert hotel prices were hiked way up which definitely shouldn’t have been for these conditions. Also made it impossible to switch hotels. Hotel should have disclosed construction before people booked.

Very nice staff. Hotel is under construction. Hallways and breakfast room is under construction. Hotel is loud.

They were remodeling during my three day stay. A lot of dust from the carpet and the tile being chipped up. With no plastic up separating the check in and the dining area. Way too much map dust for having asthma and allergies. The room was very comfortable. Staff pleasant under the conditions they had to work in.
