Cappadocia Ozbek Stone House

Hello, I booked a 2-day stay at the Cappadocia Özbek Stone Hotel. After staying the first day, I got food poisoning from what I ate at breakfast. I was sick all day until the evening. On the second day, there was no cleaning, no bath soap, no shampoo, and no linen change in our room. Nothing was done. The next day, I went to breakfast again and saw leftover french fries and cucumbers from the day before – it was obvious. No offense to the lady who prepared it, but this is no way to treat hotel guests. We pay money to be here and expect the service that should be provided. Service: 0, Quality: 0, Cleanliness: 0. There's only one sweet, polite, and understanding Uzbek gentleman at reception who tried his best, and I thank him. Is our crime that we're not foreign tourists? Why is there no cleaning? If I were staying for a week, would I have to use the same sheets and towels for a whole week? Is this what customer satisfaction means? Friends who are coming, please think twice when choosing your hotel. It's an absolute disaster.

I have never stayed in such a filthy establishment in my life! First off, there's no reception clerk to greet you. We somehow got our room, and inside, there were hotel staff uniforms hanging on the clothes rack. The toilet lid and seat were missing, the room smelled like sewage, and the toilet, sink, and shower were absolutely disgusting, covered in grime, limescale, and rust. There were no face towels, no hygiene liquids, not to mention the smell... The sheets and pillowcases were stained yellow, and there were no mattress protectors on the beds. What I've described is just the tip of the iceberg, there's more. We couldn't sleep, and we couldn't use the toilet or shower. It was a terrible experience, and I truly don't understand how people gave this place high ratings. I definitely won't trust ratings on my next trip.

We booked a family room. It's very convenient, right in the center. There's an observation deck nearby. There's WiFi. My family and I loved it.
