Cappadocia Cave Suites

The hotel is beautiful, a unique experience definitely worth staying for. Some of the hotel rooms are original cave dwellings, while others are man-made. The room I stayed in, 108, was a converted original cave. Volcanic rock strongly blocks signals, so the signal in the room was very poor, and signal coverage across Cappadocia in general isn't great. (Except for Quick China restaurant, which has a very low rating on Dianping, but I think it's a reliable choice because their internet speed is incredibly fast.) The room wasn't huge, and the facilities weren't brand new, as the hotel opened in 1991, but it was well-maintained. In the morning, I could open my door and see hot air balloons 🎈. Breakfast was the same every day, so staying for one night would be enough. (You can see it in my pictures; for the main course, choose a regular fried egg or an omelet 🍳. The third option, which locals love, is super-duper sour and I'd advise against it.) For everything else, just check out my photos, hahaha.

I really liked the balcony room at this hotel, so I paid a premium to book it. After arriving in Cappadocia, I realized that there are very few rooms in the entire region that are genuine cave rooms with a view and a balcony. It's truly rare and unique. It's a bit of a shame though that the hot air balloons didn't fly the next morning and the weather was overcast, so the balcony couldn't be fully appreciated. The room itself was very cozy, with a lot of solid wood furniture and a few stone elements, giving it a great texture and design. Drawbacks: ① The bathroom was not very practical. The handheld showerhead couldn't be adjusted for height, so if a woman doesn't want to get her hair wet, she has to hold the showerhead while showering. ② The value for money was a bit low; the premium paid for its uniqueness was quite high. ③ The check-out time was set at 11 AM, which is an hour earlier than most hotels.

Excellent breakfast! Impeccable service. It's a bit difficult to find parking, but the experience was excellent!

Clean and tidy, the location is super convenient with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. It's only a 10-minute walk to the bus station, making it easy to travel to another city. The breakfast at NANA restaurant is absolutely delicious and substantial. Most importantly, the terrace is definitely worth it!

This is an exceptionally good hotel, and the butler was very attentive and thoughtful. The observation deck offered beautiful views as well. The hotel wasn't as damp as I expected, and it looked much better in person than in the photos online. The breakfast was also delicious 😋, and I even saw hot air balloons. It was a blissful day!

The scenery is beautiful and the hygiene is pretty good. There are a lot of cats around, but the breakfast is quite mediocre. There's no partition between the toilet and the bedroom, and you can see the toilet directly from the front door! 😯

This time, my sister and I traveled with our two daughters. We booked a 70-square-meter suite with one king bed and two single beds. The cave hotel has a unique charm, and although the facilities are a bit old, it's very clean and tidy. It's also super convenient for getting around. We didn't have high hopes for breakfast; it's a set menu with no options, but you can ask the staff to fry eggs, which was a nice touch. The terrace view is great, and you can even see hot air balloons!
