"EVENT REVIEW : function room I attended a small function at the new Voco last week - about 59 people to celebrate the life of my late uncle. The food - a mix of fresh sandwiches, hot nibbles (think interesting pies, sausage rolls, etc), cheese and fruit plates and desserts - was excellent. All of the items were clearly made in-house, fresh and plentiful. The wines offered were all great, and they even had a coffee cart which we all appreciated. It looked to me like the room could be divided in two for smaller events - there were two AV systems etc - and I will consider it for business functions and perhaps training if the need arises. For other functions the room design is understated so you could add your own flair very easily. I would certainly request the room with access onto the large balcony looking across Gosford - unfortunately it wasn’t the right weather for us but I can see that it would be a huge asset to any event. I do love a fancy hotel bathroom - and the Voco have some top quality amenities!! I didn’t stay at the hotel as I’m local but the hotel foyer is beautifully designed and the staff we spoke with were very helpful. Easy parking underneath - and we all remarked on the fancy gold lifts ! Highly recommended for business and social events."

"Convenient location close to train station and shops, friendly and helpful staff. However not so great for a peaceful sleep, You can hear the breaks of every train as they arrive, Can easily hear people on the floor above and on the streets. Furthermore the room I was in had bedbugs so I bites all over my legs and back."

"My studio apartment was clean and cozy, with stylish furniture and a comfy bed (Landing promises a “luxurious sleep experience”). The small kitchenette was stocked well enough with cookware and utensils that I was able to make some of my meals at home rather than overspending on Terrigal’s amazing food scene—yes, it’s really as good as you’ve heard. Extra bonus was the free replenishments of breakfast cereal milk, coffee, tea and bottle water. Daily cleaning service and laundry was 2nd to none!"

Staff were pleasant and accommodating Only 5 minutes walk to the heart of Gosford Reasonably priced Highly recommended We will return at sometime in the near future"

"We have been coming here with our family 1-2 times a year for years now. Now we are just done. Over the years there has been multiple maintenance issues, like nails sticking up from the deck that cut my son’s foot and a broken toilet seat that was just stuck down with tape. The location is beautiful so we persisted. This time, staying in their most expensive cabin, the floorboards are broken and forming peaks at the joins, there is no blind in the kids room so they’re up at sunrise, the playground equipment has been broken for years so they just block off sections of it. Now with 3 young children they are enforcing a ‘no inflatable pool TOY’ rule. Meaning our children were not allowed to use their swimming AIDES. They provided swimming vests that our kids wouldn’t wear and didn’t need. The kitchen utensils were filthy and there are cockroaches and rats again. I understand staff will be ‘disappointed our stay didn’t meet our expectations’ but we’ve given so many chances to see if it changes but management doesn’t care. They book out so why would they? Don’t bother with place it extremely overpriced and underwhelming."

"Upon arrival. The unit seemed clean. We unpacked and set about making dinner. The plates were filfy. Once washed We opened the oven to find it was a mess. A tray that was in it had fat on it and was extremely dirty. The toaster had crumbs in it and in the cupboard. We decided to do a thorough clean up tonight prior to heading off and upon pulling both lounges out from the wall to sweep, Rubbish was everywhere. Absolutely disgusting. ( For the record. We dont drink bottled water. ) This has not been cleaned for a long time it seems. I left it in the same state so you can see for yourself. Totally disappointed in our time here. For the money, I at least expected a clean place. I would get someone to check all units after it has been cleaned before you offer them out. You probably won't worry about my review but unfortunately I will never return here. Owners response: it appears that we put you in an unclean apartment by accident. I wish you had of let me know straight away I would have moved you. My cleaners are fantastic cleaners and very thorough so I. Sure this has been a simple mistake. I am happy to give you a discount if we have made a mistake but I would appreciate that you don't leave a review for something that could have been a mistake. How the hell can I tell you on the final night. The place is a joke."

"I recently stayed at the Galaxy Motel in West Gosford and had a great experience. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a very relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any requests. One of the biggest advantages is the convenient location, with easy access to the M1 and being directly adjacent to Gosford RSL, which offers excellent dining options and entertainment. The motel facilities were well presented, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable."
