ProfilHotels Opera

Perfect location to crash the night. Rooms were clean. Staff was nice. I had to print a couple of paper for tax return. And they printed for us too and above my expectation encasing in a nice envelope. The staff are super polite also.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, location perfect, but my room was in the older back part of the hotel, going up an older lift and walking a zig-zag corridor with level differences. A little weird. Bathroom a little cramped and when showering it wet the entire floor. But good value for the money…

Really convenient location with center station and many trams and buses right at the doorstep. Breakfast each morning was good and opens from 6:30 on weekdays.

The hotel environment is good, clean. Hotel staff and services were nice. Gym is available but small with less equipment. They have 2 dumbbells in every room in the hotel. It's good if you want to do some exercises in your room. They have a small pool as well. The hotel location is just in front of Central Station, which is really good to move around. To shop you have Nordstan shopping mall nearby. Breakfast in the hotel was nice with variation of choices. To have lunch or dinner a lot of restaurants are available around the hotel. You can do dinner at the hotel restaurant as well. The have a nice BAR on the ground floor.

It’s good location, very near train station but hotel is old.

Located in the very heart of Gothenburg just steps away from everything. Great breakfast will make you strength to explore the city.

We arrived at 7:30 pm and were told we got a room “upgrade”. The room was small so we really wondered what the “original” room looked like. The bed had stains on the cover that was laid under the mattress which didn’t look good. We went down to the lobby and found nobody present. We moved on to the restaurant, it was 8 pm. Half full and we were met with the wonderful advise that they were closed for service. This was Friday May 16th and the menu board was still at the entrance door to the restaurant. We went back to the reception and queried why the restaurant was not serving dinner at 8 pm on a Friday. The receptionist looked dumbfounded and told us it usually serves dinner at least until 9 pm but she took no action to assist us except to say we could walk fir 15 minutes to the Aveny, a street with lots of restaurants but could not suggest any close by. We ended up going to, as it happened, a fantastic restaurant right around the corner called Le Pigalle on the top floor of, we guess, a competing hotel. Fabulous meal in a restaurant that knew how to treat their guests. In short we have regretfully no positive things to say about the ProfilHotels Opera in Gothenburg. Gothenburg was fantastic but when we return we will definitely not book at the Opera which is overpriced for the standard and service they offer. Total waste of money at this venue. Regretfully we did not bother to take any pictures of the place as it is nothing we wish to remember about it.

The hotel is perfect with good location and the nice breakfast. The room is quite clean and with everything I need.

Very nice location right next to the central station. Breakfast is also great. However, sauna and pool is not free for all guests.
