Clarion Hotel the Pier

It was a great hotel. Unfortunately the ferry doesn't work. Doesn't run on the weekends so we use public transport by the bus. Overall good. Stay in Gothenburg and we'll definitely be returning. Additionally, the breakfast was fantastic with multiple different choices to include fruits, pancakes, three types of eggs, variety of different breads, etc.

Great location – quiet and peaceful, yet very easy to reach the city center. Lovely views – beautiful skyline and water views that added to the calm atmosphere. Comfortable studio room – with a handy kitchenette, perfect for a long stay like ours. Convenient ferry access – the ferry pier is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel, making trips to the city center quick and easy. Wellness facilities – the yoga studio, sauna, and relaxing lounge were amazing, perfect for unwinding after a day out.

The beds are incredibly uncomfortable if it's not a new hotel. The minibar has not even been put in a free water. Breakfast is average for hotels of these standards. Those who put a single coffee machine in a single coffee machine are their turn every morning you know. There's no one to inform you. You need to learn yourself. Das Personal war vom Check-in bis zum Check-out überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Mein Zimmer war modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und das Bett war äußerst bequem. Besonders das Frühstücksbuffet hat mich beeindruckt – große Auswahl und alles sehr frisch. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

All was great especially the service and staff. The restaurant and breakfast buffet was great. The room is spacious but was looking over the lobby, no chance to get any daylight in the room and generally room light was low, making you don't want to stay in the room unless to sleep.

Everything was perfect! This was my second time being here and this hotel will still be my favorite so far in Gothenburg.

Super nice room with comfortable bed and big windows with a great view. Breakfast was very good and hotel only a 5-10min ferry ride away from Gothenburg center. Only minus was a quite expensive parking lot and booking might be needed in advance, to secure a spot.Definitely coming here again!
