We dropped in on A Stones Throw on our way from the Cape to KZN. and were lucky enough to be accommodated. Suzanne was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and had good facilities. Suzanne even recommended a route home.

Very comfortable and reasonable home well situated for schools and shops. Lovely accommodating staff who were very kind and friendly. Very safe and secure!

We stayed at A Stone's Throw as a stopover on the way home. What a pleasure! It was so quiet, the room was very clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the room was well set up with everything we needed (fridge, microwave, kettle, etc). We'll definitely stay there again if we need a place to stay in Makhanda.

We were met by a very friendly Zoleka, who explained how things worked, and settled us in. The self-catering unit was lovely and had lots of old-world charm, albeit a little hot in Grahamstown in December. It was centrally located in a quiet suburb. Rooms and bathroom were comfortable, but the kitchen was not very clean.

I was happy to visit such a good and nice place, it was like I'm in a five star ⭐ hotel, menu was very good, location of the place also tops,I also saw the kindness and friendliness of the workers and it's management as well. I like to make a return and visit the place again.

had a excellent stay at a stones throw accomodation. Great service, super friendly people upon arrival aswell as while booking. i will definately recommend them. catered to our needs as this was a business stay.
