Hadn't stayed for a number of years but wasn't disappointed at all. Standards still really good. Great service, comfortable, great food and very clean. Only problem was the worn out double bed. Had to sleep upside down to avoid the dip in the bed. Could do with a better bar layout since some of the tables feel like being in a corridor area with staff entrances all around. Otherwise a great hotel. We will be back

Stayed here last night with friends. Received a very warm welcome! All staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. Twin room was small and dated but didn’t bother us as we just needed somewhere to throw the head after drinks. Rooms coule really do with black out blinds or curtains. We were late down for breakfast but the girl obliged us with possibly the nicest breakfast I've ever received in a hotel/b&b. Would definitely stay here again. nothing fancy but comfy clean beds, amazing hospitality and best breakfast ever. Great value for money also
