La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Granbury

I thought it was nicely decorated. Linen's were clean, beds were comfortable. They offer breakfast we did not partake due to other plans. The coffee offered in lobby is good enough I drank 3 cups and I am not a big coffee drinker. I was not dissatisfied with our stay here. I will admit part of the reason I chose this location was the fact that they had a hot tub/Jacuzzi. It would have been great after traveling long hours in a vehicle. It was closed for the season. I do not recall it being mentioned. I have been to many places it normally only applies to the pool if outdoors. The room was clean and plenty of towel and clean bathroom. The mini fridge worked well but every time I tried to open it I had to hold on to it so it didn't pull right out of the cabinet. Maybe secure it. A small inconvenience. Overall I would stay there again. The service was good and honest. There is a deposit of $50 as a hold on your card. At check. I think it's silly...

Room was clean and spacious, but some of the things were in poor condition. The bathroom sink didn't/wouldn't drain. I had to pry it open and then prop it open just to brush my teeth. The microwave didn't work. I asked to move to another room. They declined. They finally exchanged the microwave on my final day, but by then I had already made the decision to move to another hotel. Very disappointing for La Quinta. I have stayed at other La Quinta properties and they are a great place to stay with superior rooms. I will never stay at this property again!

The ice machines on all the floors did not produce ice. This was between 6 and 7 am.

Our room was spacious and clean with lots of towels and necessities. The television was a pain having to have a password every time.

Yes, parking was easy and we didn't use the gym but it look good

I was here for a night as I was getting my grandma situated into an assisted living near by. Set my stuff down and was on the run helping her. Got in on late Friday night, and went to shower. The attached picture is what I saw. As someone in healthcare, there is bacteria and such growing in that hole. And there was visible mold around the edges. Mold is growing as the water gets under that coating. Probably not safe to be inhaling either. Absolutely no way I’m showering in that. The room was $170 a night. How is this right? When I politely ask what can be done, I was told the GM would not issue any refund for my issues. (Shannon was an angel so this was not directed at her.) They’re remodeling right now so it’s like a gamble on what kind of room you get. For $170, that’s not a game anyone wants to play. And after a long day, I just wanted a clean shower. Do not stay here, the GM doesn’t care and you’ll be gambling on your room condition.

The room had mold in it the bathtub was peeling and there was rust all in the bathtub the floors were dirty and there was dirt all over the baseboards the shower handle that you hold on to was broken and the shower itself was pulling away from the tile it was very unsafe we did not even shower while we were there. We submitted a complaint to ******* and are waiting a reply. They are supposed to be looking into this. It was not good at all in the owner did nothing.

They should shampoo the carpets after every pet owner guest. The room was otherwise clean. But it didn't smell good.

Hotel is outdated. Staff was nice. Room was clean, but needing a remodel.
