Yavapai Lodge

The room was decent, nothing special but no major complaints either. Couldn't find an ice machine, but you can get water at the restaurant. I checked in after sunset, so it was already dark and I didn't get a chance to explore the surroundings. The best part is its location inside the park, which makes it very convenient for watching both sunrise and sunset. After sunrise, you can take the Blue Line shuttle back to the hotel. A quick tip for the Grand Canyon: one day is a bit rushed if you want to see everything.

After navigating to the hotel address, we checked in first, then drove to our room. We stayed in a guest room where we could park right outside, which was very convenient. The hotel facilities seem to have been renovated and are generally good, though the bathroom is a bit old. The hotel is located inside the scenic area, so it only took us 2 minutes to drive to Mather Point for sunrise.

The hotel is located within a very quiet scenic area, and you can park your car right outside your room. Open the door and you're greeted with a perfect starry sky. The bedding is clean and comfortable, and the shower water is nice and hot.
