I would give 5 stars for the location and 4 stars for the hotel itself because the property is dated and could use a facelift. We went from 1/1-6 and it was very quiet, we ventured over to 7 mile and while there is more to see/do, I couldn't wait to get back to east end. The east end has an Island vibe to it and 7 mile is just crawling with tourists. You definitely need a rental car to get around. If we go again, I would definitely stick to the east end and rum point.

The East End part of Grand Cayman is a lt quieter and more representative of what one is looking for from an island experience. The Wyndham location is also closer to a lot of attractions such as the Cayman Caves, Kaibo, Cayman Parrot Sanctuary and Botanical Garden.

Disappointed with the state of bedsheets and pillowcases. There were apparent stains- did not appear like the sheets were changed. The housekeeping staff was very friendly, and delivered new sheets, which again were with stains. The third set of sheets were clean. It resulted in the family going to sleep very late at night following a long flight from home. House keeping changed sheets according to their scheduled third day of our stay, and again we had the same issue - dirty linen that needed to be changed again. Other than the issue with the linens, overall experience was good. Nice beach front property, away from the crowds. The beach here is a bit more rocky with ****s vs the 7-mile beach area but overall good property.

Two pools (decent size), staff awesome, like hotel had different events during day and theme buffet nights, food was outstanding; island had different places to venture to and things to do.

10am checkout doesnt lineup with flight times., and no ability to extend (even if willing to pay until noon)

the staff is wonderful. The property and rooms were nice. It was not crowded at the time we were there. If you like little activities such as bingo, karaoke, tie dying and painting they have something going on every day. The food was very good and the drinks were excellent

I enjoyed the resort. Good gym, nice pools, great ocean front swimming. The snorkeling was just okay, not much to see. The staff was wonderful. Food was okay. Would stay again.
