It's was the passive aggressive nice nasty service from the front desk attendee, along with the smell of the rooms that made me cancel my stay. I had been on the road since 7:30am and it was around 6pm-7pm when I checked-in. The initial room was nice, clean and neat however it smelled of mildew. I contacted the front desk and requested to move to another room. The second room smelled worse than the first, but was too clean and neat. I was given Gain airfreshner when I decided to stay in the first room, but it didn't help with the strong odor of mildew. When I insisted on canceling my stay, I was offered yet another room and told all the rooms didn't smell like that. I declined viewing yet another room, I canceled the stay all together. My card was charged for the full stay and told I had to wait until Monday to speak with a manager to see about a refund when my card shouldn't have been charged in the first place.
