The McConnell Inn exceeded our expectations. The property itself was beautifully maintained and updated, especially the bathrooms were beautiful. Every piece of decor and furniture was so thoughtfully placed and added to the genuineness of this bed and breakfast. Mary Jo, our host, was so lovely and gentle. She is quite the baker, as the breakfasts included many homemade breads. Simply delightful experience, and we hope to come back again :)

Stay was nice. Breakfast was just ok. They serve breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 so if you have early flight or plans no options.

This is our second visit to the inn and we will certainly be back! Mary Jo serves the most amazing breakfasts that will keep you going for hours! The inn is beautiful and right on the lake and just a block from town. And if you need anything at all during your stay Mary Jo will graciously assist. Such a lovely alternative to the chains.

With so many places to visit in Wisconsin it can be overwhelming. But the McConnell Inn is a must stay. As you walk in you are instantly transported to an earlier time. The woodwork is stunning. The art, furniture, and historical pieces are very tastefully done without clutter. The owners have been there for 40 years, and it shows. Every detail for your personal comfort has been added, including electric adjustable beds for feet and head positioning. Who does that? It's awesome. Breakfast in the morning is delicious, and done with a traditional and creative flair. A couple of blocks in one direction you are in the downtown. A couple of blocks in another direction you are at a quaint beach on Green Lake. Whether you are looking for hiking, boating, swimming, it is all there to be enjoyed. A furnished deck to sit out on any time of the day. As a romantic getaway, don't get me started. Peace.

Wedding anniversary get-away Scott and Mary Jo were very warm and welcoming, and very helpful with logistics for our plans. Breakfast was delicious, homemade and the dining room was lovely. We look forward to returning!
