Had our wedding here on Saturday , the best day ever everything was perfect from start to finish all the staff are amazing but a big thank you to Pauline who looked after us at our wedding meal 5 out of 5 . Would recommend this hotel if thinking of going to Gretna for a break or to get married

The room was lovely, clean aswell even the skirting boards were clean! The staff were So friendly and helpful, we saw a wedding taking place, the staff was so attentive to the wedding party. The food was amazing, recommend the chicken and leek pie and the full Scottish breakfast 🤤. Will definitely recommend it to everyone I meet 😊

We got married here on Valentine’s Day as a couple, travelling alone. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond. Our room was a little jaded but very clean, however, the staff made this a 5 star experience. The chapel was beautiful and our minister was wonderful! Would highly recommend. Tiffany and Pete xxx

I honestly can’t recommend this place enough!! My husband and I were married here on the 30th December and we had the most amazing time. The staff are amazingly helpful and they can’t do enough for you, always making sure you are having the best time. The bridal suite is beautiful, the guest rooms are lovely and very well equipped. Breakfast and evening meals were great. Good size portions. The whole day was above and beyond our expectations, we just had the most perfect wedding day. Thank you to everyone at The Mill Forge

We booked a Wedding package with the Mill for a romantic, very small wedding, and this place certainly did not disappoint in any way. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth from the staff, and then given our room….very very nice. Apparently we were the first guests to stay in this recently refurbished bridal suite, and it was just decorated to perfection. The wedding itself was excellent, and the small on site chapel was perfect, the food was great as well. I know that the hotel performs many weddings, but we were made to feel that we were special. We honestly cannot fault any part of our stay here, from staff to rooms to facilities, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding one to remember.

We were stopping on the way up to see family in Crieff. Booked a twin room to share with my son, but we got a triple room. It was a brilliant size with a huge bathroom. The room was spotless, bed comfy, and pillows great quality. Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate plus shortbread and then nice toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was straightforward but good quality and plentiful. Every member of staff we met was really helpful, polite, and welcoming. Great value for money, will be back for a longer stay.

My wife and I got married here on the 18th october 2023 its a stunning location beutifull back drop for photos with a traditional piper The staff are amazing never to busy to help We took exclusivity of the mill for our 51 quests family friends with zero complaints everything was perfect The mill make things so easy with there correspondence and walk you through everything and provide plenty of contacts for extras you may like hair makeup table and chair dressing and of course the cake artist 20 guests came up the night before and we all sat for a nice meal super quick service my only suggestion would be get rid of the frozen oven chips The wedding meal we opted for was chicken or beef for our guest to decide from .. i personally had beef and it was really good all plates went back empty i heard everyone enjoyed the meals We had our own entertainment by way of 2 singers the staff at the mill made sure they had space to perform with plenty of dance floor We had a great wedding with wonderfull memories I have been told by guests it was the best wedding they have ever attended

The most beautiful stunning setting it’s like a little picturesque village just outside Gretna so peaceful our daughter was married here & we couldn’t have asked for a nicer setting from the rooms to the staff everything about it was just stunning
