Room was too small and location was terrible. They charged me 10£ on counter for parking when i never been told i will be charged. I never been charged for parking in last 4 hotels. Just so inconvenient

Set in a service area, you have to expect an amount of noise, but unfortunately, there was additional noise from contractors on site. The room was clean and spacious. For the price this was good value - a pity they need to charge for parking though!

Staff was welcoming. Room was as clean and tidy and we was close to the services for the EV charging. Very close to the famous blacksmiths and the local designer outlet.

The staff is a young lady who is very helpful and friendly. We stayed here for a night to stopover for a Scotland trip. The room is pretty self sufficient yet the shower gel (all in one for shampoo and shower) have used up and didn't being refill before our arrival. I only got half shower and the lady at the reception helped to get another one (she is really helpful). There is hairdryer which is very nice (another hotel that we stayed in doesn't even provide one until we asked for it). The bedsheet got some sort of dirt (something in red) but they at least look white and clean other than that. The room is overall okay for the price and it is not the worse Hotel we have in this trip. They also got a door swing bar which is good. Toilet is clean. Towels are provided. Location is great since there are restaurants around and plenty of choices.

Convenient and easy no hassles

A very convenient place to stay as a stop for a Scottish road trip. Very easy to find and plenty of parking available. Room was spacious and clean as well.  The breakfast was provided by the main motorway service venue, not the hotel. No prior booking required. I found it cheaper purchasing on site rather than on the website.  I was charged £5 for the overnight parking.

Rooms are clean and spacious! However the corridors are needing some attention! I was not pleased at having to pay £5 to park at my hotel… this is outrageous! I stay here regularly and the charge for dogs has also increased from £15 to £20!!! My dog is small and doesn’t cast hair, has his own bed. I think the charge should be adjusted to the size of dog.

A truly wonderful visit with spacious, comfortable rooms, the best food we have ever eaten in a hotel - both evening meal and enormous breakfast and welcoming, attentive staff. The only minor thing that could be improved would be to have USB plugs in the rooms. We will definitely return for another stay - thank you!

Third time stayed at the Days inn Gretna on route to further travels north into Scotland. Ticks all of the boxes being clean, convenient, well priced and friendly. Check-in was simple and quick as was check-out. Will definitely use again when travelling to see my family in loch lomond
