Close to the station, clean, amazing view from the window, delicious breakfast, water available at all times, and hot water at the bar. It was perfect!

Beautiful place surrounded by mountains and village houses. Strategic location just next to the train station and bus stop. Provide free bus rides around the town. Food at the grill bar is cheap and nice.

The location is at Grindelwald Terminal, not Grindelwald village itself. This is basically the transfer point for Jungfraujoch, which is convenient if you're heading up there. However, there are no shops around, so it's quite desolate. It might suit those who prefer peace and quiet. If you want to go to First mountain, you'll need to take the train to the next stop. The good thing here is that the hotel is a short walk from the station, so you don't have to drag your luggage up any hills. If you're hoping to see the 'Dreamy Hillside' (Eiger North Face views), I'd recommend choosing a hotel closer to Grindelwald station. The shower drain was clogged; the water nearly overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Also, there's no fan in the room, so it could get quite stuffy and hot during the summer.

Best part of my Europe trip! Firstly, the location is really good, it is right beside the Grindelwald Terminal station, which is really well connected to all the tourist spots of the Jungfrau region and also the Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen areas. The view was the best part of the stay. Shoutout to Benjamin! He got us Room 301, from which the Eiger North Face was right in front of the room balcony. The room was really good too, a bunk bed and 2 single beds. One thing you should know is that the shower area has no door lol. Amenities were just a hand soap and a body wash. They have laundry machines for 5CHF, a great breakfast spread, a community hall with billiards table and a mini kitchen. There's also a great grill and bar restaurant open till 9pm. There's a Coop in the terminal, but it closes by 7pm, had all the essentials. I'm definitely coming back to Eiger Lodge Chic and asking Benjamin for a room!

Getting to Jungfraujoch is super convenient, it's right at the foot of the mountain. For First Mountain, the hotel provides a bus card so you can take bus 121. The breakfast has a great variety, and sitting by the window with a view of the snowy mountains is just lovely. 😌
