What left the deepest impression was when the hotel staff helped us with our luggage and said, 'Leave it to us, you're here to vacation!' This truly lives up to its name as a vacation hotel. They have everything from breakfast to afternoon tea to dinner, fitness, and spa services. First, Mely checked us in and meticulously introduced us to all the hotel's services and facilities, which I think was excellently done 👍. Then, Mely asked if we'd like to upgrade to a higher floor for an additional 20 francs to get a full view of First Mountain. We felt the price was reasonable, so we upgraded. She also mentioned that afternoon tea was currently available, offering tea, drinks, fruit, and a type of bread. Because we upgraded floors, we had to go to the second floor, then walk through the gym and spa to reach our room in another building. Someone helped us open the doors and move our luggage at check-in, but unfortunately, no one was around at check-out, haha. The room's view was quite impressive. Everything in the mini-bar was free, including crisps, soda, and beer. The room was spacious and very clean. Coffee capsules were provided, but not complimentary drinking water. If you want to use the spa, you need to change into a bathrobe (disposable slippers are not provided). I initially thought 'spa' meant treatments, but it turned out to be saunas and steam rooms, which is typical for spas abroad. Since we were on the top floor, it was very quiet at night, though we did hear a bit of noise in the morning as people passed by for check-out. Breakfast was delicious and very satisfying with a wide variety of options. When we left, for some reason, the front desk gave us two bottles of tasty tea drinks. At this hotel, no matter who you encounter, they always greet you and are incredibly friendly. This was the most hospitable hotel we've experienced in Switzerland, and even in all of Europe. A special thank you to Ms. Mely for her help – she's super nice and very patient! She always had a smile, and just like in the promotional pictures, the hotel is truly thoughtful.

Great hotel, view to the mountains, private parking available, few minutes walk to Grindelwald station. Especially, very delicious food in the restaurant.

The bathroom was very clean, which I really appreciated. I also really enjoyed the breakfast it was very generous and delicious :) However, there was a sticky substance inside the kettle when I tried to boil tea. Without properly checking it, I was told that it was safe and that it was just something from the water. But it looked like mercury coming out of the kettle. I strongly recommend that you thoroughly inspect and check the kettle.

Excellent hotel! The breakfast and afternoon tea were plentiful. It's also convenient for visiting Mount First. I'll definitely come back again.

The room was beautiful and very clean, the service was excellent, and the food was great. All in all, an ideal place. The heating worked very well, and shopping was also very convenient.

Unfortunately, I encountered some bad luck with the weather during my stay, which limited my ability to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, even through the mist and rain, I could sense the beauty that lay beyond the hotel's windows. I can only imagine how magical it would be on a clear day. The service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making the stay truly enjoyable. breakfast was simply delicious! The array of options available was impressive, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. this hotel left a lasting impression on me. The well-designed interiors, the mesmerizing view (even through the rain), the exceptional service, and the mouthwatering breakfast made my stay truly remarkable. If you're looking for a hotel that combines elegance, comfort, and impeccable service, this is the place to be.

The helpful reviews are accurate. Awesome room view and great service from all staff. We have two adults and one child and they connected two single beds and provided and extra bed. I would say just book (level 4 lifestyle room) with a peace of mind and do remember to bring your own toiletries.

Good location above the bar, it was short walk from stations and also Coops (local supermarket) for groceries

Location is good, near to the train station just few minutes walk or can take bus one stop up the hill if you have stop many luggage with you. Near to the first cliff walk. They come with free tea time and discount on spending in their restaurant. Can have nice view from room with upgrade.

The hotel is in the main street, only 5 min walks from Grindelwald station (not grindelwald terminal station).. the staffs were very friendly, breakfast were better than average, the room was clean and very spacious although it was not gave the best view, but OK..

The greatest hotel!! The location is so close to the station, employees are really awesome, the view from the window was so fantastic. They upgraded my hotel room from single to view room i think, the landscape from the window, The Eiger mountain was super fantastic. Amazing hotel, super recommended 호텔 싱글룸으로 예약했는데 뷰룸으로 업그레이드 해주셨어요! 싱글룸은 주차장뷰라서 걱정했는데 문 열자마자 아이거북벽이 짠 보여서 너무너무 좋았음. 비수기라 좀 괜찮은 가격에 이용했는데, 다음에도 또 머물고 싶을 정도로 좋은 곳임. 직원들도 친절하고 조식도 맛있음! 아 근데 호텔청소를 좀 일찍함 9시~11시 사이에 호텔청소를 하니 알아두시길! 호텔 체크아웃할때 직접만든 아이스티까지 주시더라구요 감동쓰
