We feel really lucky to have found this charming boutique hotel with exceptional warm and welcoming hospitality. Petros, Victoria and David on the front desk made us feel welcome and at home from check-in and they went out of their way to make sure our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The quality of food and level of service was incredible each day and the hotel was less than a 5 minute walk to the Panoramabahn gondola ski lifts. We organised skiing lessons through Toni Gruber’s ski school and all the our equipment was delivered directly to the ski room in the basement of the hotel making it extremely easy for us. The spa was lovely and the spa treatments very good, we will definitely be coming back to stay at Grossarler Hof again thank you again for a wonderful holiday!!

It is a quaint Austrian hotel with excellent food and wines. I would recommend taking the half-pension rate inclusive of breakfast and dinner. The ingredients are sourced locally and fresh. The staff are excellent especially Pedros at the front-desk, Zidane at the bar and Thomaz with his wine recommendation. The ski lift is just in front of the hotel and there are good facilities for apres ski such as jacuzzi pool, sauna, outdoor heated pool, etc. It is also a short walk to the town's Christmas Market if you are visiting in December.

We are so happy that we found the Grossarler. It is a truly and standard for hospitality services. The staff, food and accommodations were all all top drawer. We really got to know that staff over our 4-day stay and they were so professional, affable, and responsive (special thanks to Eva). We look forward to our next visit.

Perfect. Friendly staff, outstanding value for money. It’s a fairly large hotel but I felt so personally welcome- if staying here is an option I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Ok so I need to type 200 characters. It was great! Stay here! You won’t regret it! They have a spa area with a small outdoor pool and a bunch of saunas, steamroom, whirlpool etc…

Our memories from the holidays will last for long time.🌸 We indeed had wonderful stay in this property. We loved the traditional decorations of the room . The cleanness and perfection of everything. The tasty gourmet food on both breakfast and dinner. The politeness and excellent service of the waiters and of course the efficiency of the reception staff. We felt that we had a good choice of the hotel because we felt an experience and feeling of real Austrian tradition . Thanks you all for making our holiday so pleasant and enjoyable. We will return back!☺️

Very family friendly, staff is fantastic, four course dinner was amazing and picturesque location is unbeatable . We were also able to rent bikes through the hotel. The family suit is adorable and perfect for a family of four.

We spent Easter weekend in Hotel Grossarler Hof. It is a fantastic place, decorated with good taste, clean, great food and service on top level! Highly recommend it for family visit, but also for a romantic experience.

This is a family run operation in a small village about an hour out of Salzburg - lovely area deep in the mountains - the Hotel is sold on a Bed /Breakfast and Dinner basis and it has a wonderful Health Spa under the Hotel - with an outside heated pool it is all kept in first class condition - the check in was easy - the rooms comfortable and again clean and the Breakfast first class - the evening menu is produced in the morning of each day and is about 5 courses - now it is this I would have comments about - my feeling is that the Hotel should concentrate more on local dishes and get away from the Michelin five star approach the food is too experimental-it has lost direction as it is either one or the other - it is never going to be Michelin star so why not offer good local produce giving good hearty Austrian meals - in my three nights the deserts were poor all based on Ice Cream ,while the salads and soups were wonderful the mains were based on either Veal or Deer , the vegetarian offering was an after thought. Would I come back - yes perhaps to taste the new menu
