Gualala Country Inn

Beautiful little inn close to the sea. Becky was amazing and made check in super simple. Overall hotel room was clean and well kept. Parking was easy. Had two little dogs with us and had nice little area for them to relieve themselves couple steps away from room. Would recommend and will be back to this amazing little town.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The on-site manager was very helpful, sharing tips about the area and restaurant information, and offering a cold drink upon arrival. The room was OK, but tired Our room had two beds, a small metal bistro table with two metal chairs, a faux electric fireplace insert that serves as the room heater, a cabinet with a TV on it, and a mini fridge with a microwave on it. Parking was right outside the room. The Inn sits on Highway 1 and is within walking distance of the grocery store and several restaurants. The Inn does not offer any food. Most places open at 8 am, so it is a good idea to have some fruit or yogurt in your in-room fridge in case you want a morning snack before 8 am.

Right on the road so easy to find and get access and parking. Super easy for dogs. Water tasted good. Staff helped after hours as there was a big truck that parked and left his machine running right outside the rooms. Also the lobby area access was limited as the hours are limited. Room was clean and view was lovely. Flame heater was for looks only as was the thermostat it seemed. Did not bother me but I could see where more blankets could be good. Restaurants are limited but there is a convenient organic food store across the road and everything within walking distance. It is a small town. Art work was lovely to view in the couple galleries and The Sea Ranch Chapel just a few miles down the road. In all, I enjoyed the stay and would use it again.

Beautiful room with ocean views. Staff was super helpful and even took the time to highlight their favorite restaurants with open times and proximity. Would def stay here again

The place was clean but there was an unidentifiable oder in the room. Airing it out didn't help much. The main problem was with the TV. There was no program reception due to reportedly not being able to connect to the internet. When i contacted the front desk the woman there said that the man who knows about that has gone home for the day. She came up and tried to fix it with no luck. Being in a motel room with no TV or internet connection is not good for me.

There was no heater just some funky fireplace that didnt put out much heat. The Bed was horrible saggy, lumpy , and worn out, and the Pillows were so massive I got a neck strain. The shower was Moldy and I felt dirty getting out of it. I would not recommend this place to a homeless person. Oh but I could see the ocean thru the power lines and across the Highway

We stayed here for one night on a quick weekend trip to Gualala from Sacramento with our 2 dogs. The woman at check in was lovely (she runs the motel by herself) and even provided our pups with organic dog treats. The motel room was extremely clean and we even had views of the ocean from our bedroom. The fireplace heater made the room feel even cozier. The motel was walking distance to pretty much every restaurant in downtown Gualala and a short drive to most of the hikes in the area. Only downside is that the mattresses were not that comfy but the rest of the stay made up for that. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone staying in the Gualala area.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Becky was so welcoming and friendly. We were only in town for one night, but will definitely be back.
