Friendly clean [lace, easily accessible from the bus depot by bus or taxi, close to the historic centre, and a good breakfast comes with the room. Friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed the terrace on the 5th floor, it has a good view of the city, if you need to buy something there is a shopping mall only 200m.

This property was close to many places within walking distance, the food was very good. Overall very happy.

Nice historic building with charm and friendly staff. The free full breakfast was delicious. Only problem was windows open to the hallway with no outside light or air.

The service of the staff was wonderful! The breakfast was formal sitting & very delicious. The location was perfect. Everything we had hoped to see was within walking distance and yet the hotel was quiet due to a lovely park right across the street. I would highly recommend this hotel! Thanks to the great staff and location!

Good location, not far from downtown, and customer service was excellent. We would definitely return but when the weather is cooler because it was hot in the room.

What I did not like was that our room did not have a window to the exterior, only to the interior hallway. It was difficult to get air movement through the room in order to cool it down.

Somewhat far from the attractions

The hotel is good, the service at the restaurant was amazing the waiter was so nice and all was clean. Room wise the housekeeping was awesome and nice. Really wasn’t much of services needed. Over all a good stay. Host day of check in was very informative.

Great stay for a great price. Location was 10 minute walk from most attractions. Would definitely recommend

Like everything about the property

We had no issues with the staff but there seemed to be a family staying there the weekend we stayed over. They were extremely loud at late hours and it did not help that everything anyone said or did would echo down the hall. If you’re looking for a goodnight sleep… I would not recommend staying here.

Not a great location, not a great quality hotel for mexico. Week end was so loud , smell coming out of bathroom drain no blackOut curtain on the ONE WINDOW. NOT GREAT. DATED.

Pros: Free breakfast, ample rooms, good, friendly staff. Cons: Can hear a pin drop in adjacent rooms, but sounds like bowling pin. Neighbor's TV viewing choices, too. Don't stay in room 106 - some days, starting at 5 a.m., loud, repetitive noise coming from below the window, is like hot air jet engine balloon inflating; will wake you up and not stop and goes off every 2 minutes. Front desk knows about this, but will still book that room. Wifi is either lo-fi or no-fi in several rooms. Cell reception also not great, so brush up on your Morse code or bring carrier pigeons. Most rooms' windows are right next to hallways, so it's noisy when other guests walk/ talk going by. Drapes don't always cover all the window areas, so dress/undress in bathroom, instead. No heater or A/C in room, only floor stand fan. Can get cold at night, so take advantage of thin blanket stored in the open closet. No pool, but no worries - if you're in room 106, due to misaligned shower doors, you'll get a free wading pool when you step out of the shower. TV was small, but would make a passable laptop screen. No table to eat or work on; the side table is 2-tiered, so doesn't easily lend itself to either use. Hope your experience here is better than mine.

The chilaquiles were delicious! I was very disappointed because, ACCORDING TO THE TAXI DRIVER, The front desk staff charged us with MORE than 10.00 U.S. DOLLARS, just for calling us a taxi!! I couldn't believe that! We were offered to go out side and stop any taxi, or they could call a taxi for us, and since is a place far from home and for safety reasons we decided to accept their offer and have them call a taxi for us, BUT we were never told that we were going to be CHARGED with more than TEN AMERICAN DOLLARS just for that phone call. I called the hotel to verify if they charged that, but the lady at the front desk had many answers and anger, but never deny that they charged us $10.00 dollars just to call us a taxi. A LOT A MONEY JUST FOR A SIMPLE PHONE CALL. (we were never told we were going to be charged if they call a taxi for us). Very unfair
