Hotel Casa Virreyes

It was a very nice hotel within walking distance of all the tourist attractions. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guanajuato, with a minibus stop right outside. From the central station, you can take a minibus to the city center, or directly to the central station by taking the brown/blue bus marked "central de Autobuses" for only 11 pesos. Other buses go to attractions like the La Momias Mummy Museum. Amenities: The room is rather simple, but it has everything you need, and the cleanliness is acceptable. There's even a capsule coffee machine. Overall, the price is very reasonable. Service: The male receptionist speaks excellent English. Early check-in is not possible. Breakfast includes several kinds of fruit, milk and cereal, sliced ​​bread, and an additional menu item.

The hotel is located behind Guanajuato Cathedral, and the bus stop is 50 meters to the right of the main entrance. You can take a bus if you arrive in Guanajuato by long-distance bus. The room I was given wasn't great; the window faced the inner courtyard, which was practically useless. Mexican hotels are a bit strange; almost every hotel has a few rooms without windows. Breakfast was simple: bread, milk, fruit, but I didn't see any eggs.

The location is great. You can walk to most tourist attractions, and there is a bus stop right in front, so it is convenient for going to the bus terminal or other distant places. You can hear the bells in front of the cathedral a little, but I personally thought it was more charming and nice.

The hotel is clean but a bit old, the nearby environment is good.The location is also easy to access. Breakfast is relatively few choices.But there is a cup of coffee to refresh, recharge.Alright!
