Acceptable Price for traveller, good location right opposite of GuangZhou East Railway Station. Recommended

We booked a Sunset King Room, but what we got was completely different from the pictures online – it was dirty and run-down. The floor was greasy, sticking to our shoes as we walked, and there were cockroaches crawling on the bathroom floor. The kitchen cabinets were full of trash, the toilet seat was broken, and the sofa was so filthy we didn't dare sit on it. Even the ceiling light was broken. I called the front desk to ask if we'd been given the wrong room, but they insisted it was correct. It was too late and we were too tired, so we had to stay for one night. It was the absolute worst experience. If the pictures online had reflected what I saw in reality, I would never have booked this room.

I chose Linzhi Apartment (Guangzhou East Railway Station Zhonghui Plaza Branch) for my trip to Guangzhou this time, and the experience was fantastic! The location is superb, very close to Guangzhou East Railway Station subway station, making travel incredibly convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby, giving it a lively atmosphere. The room was spacious and bright, very clean and tidy, and well-equipped, making for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic, check-in was quick, and the service was super attentive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guangzhou!

Very good apartment. The host is very friendly and helpful. It was clean and great temperature. They even have heating that is not everywhere in the south. Apartment is spacious and ceiling is high. Windows are big as well and the view is great. Thank you for hosting us during the conference.

The B&B owner is incredibly kind and responds very quickly. The room has everything you could possibly need and is super comfortable. Great soundproofing and large windows. Big kudos to the owner! It's a lovely place, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guangzhou.

I've never stayed in such a terrible guesthouse. The AC was incredibly noisy and slow to cool. The chair was broken, and the TV remote didn't work. The bed was completely caved in, I couldn't believe it! I contacted the host, who said they'd get maintenance to check the AC. An hour later, maintenance arrived and told me to ask the front desk for a room change. 🤬 Everyone, avoid this place!

First off, the hotel's location was hard to find; nobody gave any directions beforehand, and guests had to ask around to locate it. Secondly, I'm truly speechless about the environment—I've never stayed in a hotel like this. Besides the old and outdated facilities, there were stains all over the bed and sofa. Even more bizarre, the entire room was cluttered with all sorts of random items. I couldn't tell if I was staying in a hotel or a storage room. It's hard to believe such a place costs 200 RMB a night. Anyone planning to book here, think twice!

Excellent location directly walkable from the East station. Checkin process is a bit complicated as this is an apartment complex within a multi-storied complex. Excellent views. Would recommend for family travelers.

Excellent location if train is your major source of transportation. Check in and out rather seamless.

The hotel is highly recommended. The staff is very nice and it's just a few metres away from the Guangzhou East Railway Station. For me it was very convenient to stay in this area. Also the staff is really helpful with my luggage.

The location is close to the train station, and the overall environment is decent. The only slight inconvenience is that food deliveries can't be brought up to the room; you have to go down to the delivery locker to pick them up. Overall, a good review.

Other than an aircon breakdown that took a day to fix and spotting cockroaches 3 times, the location is great and close to eateries and GZ east train station. I won’t say it’s the best in terms of cleanliness but if you don’t, it’s a livable room
