Guangzhou Tianhe JAMES JOYCE ELITE HOTELS

overall okay but the location not that ideal like next to tianhe mall but you can took didi to nearby less than 20mint . Breakfast is ok not that variety of choice. I didn’t like about the hotel it was the Elevator is sharing . Front desk ask to review immediately after the room check out which was annoying.

Our overall experience was decent and a nice stay (3 nights). It could be better if the lift lobby is made exclusive for the hotel guests but it is understood that it is shared with the shopping mall basement parking and some office floors given the original building structure, and also it is worth noting that the hotel has 2 dedicated lift cars programmed for the hotel guests. Several other improvements to be considered; the Aircon system cool air flow in the main lobby and breakfast area (floor 36) are a bit weak, it is pretty warm; the gym room isn't inviting as it is used as storage space as well; the dryer doesn't seem working fine as clothes did not get dried up after 2x an hour usage, it is quite wasteful to the electricity. We love the welcome coffee but it will be great that the room is also provided with instant coffee or coffee machine and pods. The staff is nice and helpful but it will enhance the experience if they smile and greet you too as you walk closer to them, as hotel guests and foreigners visiting the country/city the first time, it will feel more inviting, especially we require some assistance regarding direction/metro info etc. As it is located right above Gangding metro station (I think is line 3), it is easy to take metro if hotel guests are familiar with the metro map but bear in mind it is quite far away from Yuxue district (Beijing lu, shamian island and needs to transit to different line) but very close to the taikoo hui shopping mall (one stop away).

Amazing location right outside the line 3 exit. It is also by the Plaza mall, very convenient. Joy was lovely and was really supportive with our questions Breakfast has a good variety of food, nice equipped gym and laundry Rooms are clean and staff is very polite

Couldn't find a better location than this place. It is straight from the station, in a shopping mall, and has the best yum cha restaurant in town where locals go. We will come back🥰
