No matter which city I visit, I always seem to have a soft spot for Hilton hotels. This past May, when I went to the US, my son also booked me into a Hilton. So, when I had a business trip to Baiyun District this time, I didn't hesitate to choose the Hilton Garden Inn again. Before I left, I saw that the hotel offered a free airport pickup service, but it required booking a day in advance. I decided to send the hotel a message just to try my luck, and to my surprise, they actually arranged it for me! My flight arrived at Guangzhou Airport after 11 PM, and the driver was already there waiting. On the way back to the hotel, the driver enthusiastically told me all about Guangzhou's local delicacies... A big thank you to the hotel for the thoughtful arrangement and to the driver for the excellent service! 👍👍 Every corner of the hotel is decorated so warmly. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied; I helped myself to plenty of food. While I was enjoying my meal, a lovely waitress in the restaurant brought me a plate of 'Cheong Fun' (rice noodle rolls). She said I should try this special Guangzhou dish. Her smile was as warm as the morning sun. I only learned her surname, Chen, as I was leaving the restaurant.
