Tongyuan International Hotel (Meihuayuan Subway Station Branch, Guangzhou East Station)

Staying here for my business trip was a great choice. It's super convenient for catching the high-speed train, just two subway stops from Guangzhou East Station. The facilities are good; there's a gym so I could squeeze in a workout. But the best part was the laundry room – the machines have dryers, so I could wash and dry my clothes right away without having to carry wet laundry around. The room itself was well-maintained and comfortable. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Guangzhou.

The room was clean, tidy, and bright. It's conveniently located near the subway, a shopping mall, and a supermarket, offering great value for money.

The hotel's hygiene was appalling, with inadequate cleaning and unused contraceptives left unremoved. Attention to detail was lacking. Feedback was handled slowly and with a perfunctory attitude, resulting in a terrible experience. I would never recommend staying there.

Kiki at the front desk provided excellent service; she was polite and professional. The environment was clean and tidy, with attention to detail, making for a very satisfactory overall experience. Most importantly, it was very quiet!

The house is still under renovation and being sold; it's a complete mess.

There was a strong musty smell as soon as I entered the room. The floor tiles were covered in mold and dust. The showerhead was barely working and took forever to heat up. The air conditioner was extremely loud and made occasional strange noises; it was the kind that could only be controlled with a remote from directly below. The bedside table unit was broken. The room was very poorly soundproofed; it was impossible to sleep if the neighbors were talking. I finally managed to fall asleep around 1 a.m.
