One of the worst hotels I've stayed in recent times.
Paid around 200+ per night (which is considered above average price in China, for the junior suite.)
Room had only 2 tiny windows, feels extremely claustrophobic.
Cons:
1) Only 2 tiny windows. Feels claustrophobic.
2) Both living and bedroom comes with the light consoles on the wall which are motion activated. So if you're a light sleeper and flip in the middle of the night (even on your bed) the motion sensor is so sensitive that it'd immediately light up and the entire room will be flashed by the light console indicator.
3) Sound proofing is terrible. Stayed on the highest floor (22nd storey) but I could still hear the traffic downstairs, and it's bad enough to disrupt my sleep.
4) Tried using the bathtub on the last night. The bath shower head got stuck and couldn't retract back, neither could the water drain. So after washing the tub, the shower head got stuck, and I couldn't drain the water to fill in clean water to soak.
5) Bedroom TV antenna was unplugged, had to plug it in myself.
5) The room design doesn't feel well thought out. e.g. Living room had no power plugs near the sofa, so you can't charge your phone while sitting on the sofa. And bedroom blackout curtains couldn't close fully, so it leaks light pretty badly in the morning.
Pros:
1) 6 lifts, so don't need to wait for your lift too long.
2) Fridge is a legit fridge, not those lousy conduction fridge. But no free snacks or drinks. Everything in mini bar is chargeable.
3) Hotel have a proper drop off point for your ride hailing. But the location of the hotel is pretty off, it's near a quaint neighborhood where there's nothing much to do. But it's around 10mins car ride to Beijing Road. And around 20mins car ride to Tian Huan shopping area.
Honestly regretted booking this hotel on my first night. I reckon that there are probably better hotels in the vicinity for cheaper prices.
I've stayed at multiple Hilton hotels, and I'd have to say that this experience is extremely disappointing.
